Washington D.C.

I just got back from my 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.
It was really fun and I got to see all these sites I thought I would never see.
It was kind of hard to believe that the Whitehouse was right in front of me. It seemed like a dream.
When we went to see the Washington Monument, I didn't go up because I'm deathly afriad of heights.
But I was glad I wasn't the only one who didn't go up.
This other girl in my class, Jen, didn't go up either so we just talked until everyone else came back.
Althought I'm really sad now, my 8th grade year is over and I have to leave my school I have been going to for 9 years.
And some people in my grade aren't going to the same highschool.
I never thought this day would come, when I would leave the 8th grade.
