WE MADE STATE!!

Well after freaking out for a month, Issma has finally come and gone. And we made state!! State is on February 26th. Now I just have to freak out for another month, lol. I wouldn't have never made state if I wasn't in a group. It was actually kind of funny because during the performance I was kind of thinking *hey, I'm actually playing aren't I?* Btw, there are five flutes, one piccolo(or however you spell it), and one alto flute. "Alto flute?" you say? Me too when I first saw it. It's like a regular flute but it's golden and a little bit longer and thicker. It can also play low notes that a regular flute can't. A lot of people that we didn't know came to watch out performance because some people go around to see what the competition is and this one group of kids kept on bothering the alto flute girl saying "Can I touch!? Can I touch it!? Just let me touch it once, that's all I need!?" It was kind of funny. And a lot of people were congratulating us. I'm not going to be modest, I have to say we kicked butt. Well except for me. I kind of feel like I don't desereve going to state. I would have never made it if it wasn't for everyone else. And I might letter for a school jacket......I don't think I'lll deserve that either. I screwed up on this once part even though the whole group has been trying to help me with it because it's my own solo. I just got so nervous. Hopefully I'll have it down when we get to state.
