Excel Saga Weird Anime Excel Saga Summary ~ a bit spoilerific

Excel Saga has to be one of the most hilarious satire comedies in anime to date.

The main character is Excel, who works for the Faction "Across". Excel reports to a man called Il Pallazo, whom she has a love interest for.
Il Pallazo, with the use of stereotypical and outrageously funny plans that include Excel, intends to dominate F city. Whether it be assassinating the author of the Excel manga, or visiting the US to find out the difference between American cartoons and Japanimation.

All these plans fail. Many interesting characters join Excel along the way, friend or foe. Here are a few:

Pedro = First a coworker of Excel at a construction site, he dies in an explosion Excel set off. Izz-chan, the re-setter of the universe has a fling with him. Pedro is in an unending nightmare as he finds out that his wife is with another man and his son calls this other guy 'Papa'.

Menchi = Menchi, a female dog who looks like a cat. She is at first happy Excel takes her in, but then she quickly finds out she has become Excel's back-up food supply.

Hyatt = The pretty princess alien girl the puchus covet. Ilpallatzo seems to have a thing for her. Hyatt mysteriously dies in many episodes. more than once, but always comes back to life.

Nabeshin = Watanabe Shinchiro's alter ego. The director of Excel Saga. He appears unexpectedly in many scenes on side quests and to aid Excel..sort of.

The Safety Assurance Agency = A bunch of young workers who form a crime-fighting group wearing tight fitting spandex. A parody on Power Rangers.

Gojo Shinouji = The 'Child-Loving Scientist' This guy is a genius. Helping the government of F city, he creates the Ropponmatsu's amongst other gadgets, all the while keeping at least one kawaii little girl around him.

Space Butler = a friend of Nabeshin's this guy fights good and looks good with an afro.

PuChus = Alien Bears. These things are just too kawaii, that its so hard to fight them! Once you hit/squash/kill a normal puchu, they show their true faces and cry some silly thing like 'you cut me in half!'
