    Yikes! I hope they figure out soon what's causing the toads to explode; it's a good thing they are telling people to stay away from the pond.

    I heard birds can self combust if they eat uncooked rice. Maybe something just lying around is the culprit. Maybe uncooked noodles...

    As gruesome as it would have to be, I find it somehow funny. Exploding toads... maybe it was done by the US, researching new weapons? :p I mean, who'd expect a toad to come up to them and explode? (Actually, sounds more like the Iraqis. :p)

    How odd. It is kinnda creepy too. What if whatever causes these frogs to blow up could pass to other animals? Oh well, It would still be kinnda cool to see them blow up.. or maybe tha is just me. :D

    it sort of like when you feed a pigeon or seagull an alkaseltser and watch as their stomach explodes and then they do...cruel but somehow amusing...lol :anime:

    why must you shoot me down so hard? Well the things about the exploding toads is porbably more closely related to the hungry birds. My reasoning for this is that the fructose in frogs livers are very nuitritious for a birds and it helps to provide the Bird with thecessary energy it needs daily...i would post a link but i couldnt find a site...maybe you can Neph? anyways...thats what I think.... :anime:

    im not saying that it isnt on any site, but it might be easier for you to find a site instead of myself...but the information was in my Biology text book when we did a lab where we dissected frogs, birds, and pigs....

    It's a conspiracy I tell you all.. hopefully I don't have nightmares tonight.. actually.. it is kind of funny but sad. I did hear on the radio about the birds picking at the frogs' liver.. but I mean how many frogs were there? how HUNGRY WERE THESE BIRDS? Why doesn't this happen in MY BACKYARD POND? (ok, I don't have one but there's one within 30 second walking distance.. but still)

    Exploding frogs...very interesting. I did see it once in The Hulk movie...wonder if its the same way. Oh...and the rice thing for the birds is false. The streets would have been filled with bird corpses by now. You know what...I think itll be awesome to puff up as a self defense mechanism. You could play sports better...like hockey. Just puff up and block the whole goal :p :p :p

    *gasp!* that is so sad.... but so bloody awesome!!! wow, are those birds smart or what... heh, no wonder crows are my favorite birds... so smart... i guess it's like they say, like favorite type of bird, like person who likes that favorite type of bird...
