    Welcome to Bleach.

    Bleach
Ichigo Kurosaki is not a regular 15 year old boy. He never asked for the ability to see ghosts--he was born with the gift.

When his family is attacked by a Hollow (a malevolent lost soul) Ichigo gets help from a female Shinigami named Rukia Kuchiki. Shinigami is translated as God of Death also known as Soul Reaper.

With the only choice left to save Ichigo’s family Rukia precedes to transfer her Shinigami powers to Ichigo. Ichigo then becomes a Shinigami/Soul Reaper.

At this time Ichigo discovers his dedication to protect the innocent with living or dead and help the tortured spirits find peace.

The story doesn’t end there. Rukia did something that a Shinigami must never do. They must never transfer Shinigami power’s to a human being and stay in the human being world to long. She had to stay because Ichigo took too much of her power. She could no longer be a Soul Reaper.

Two Shinigami’s from Soul Society take Rukia away where she will be put to death. Ichigo vows he will save the life of the Soul Reaper who saved his life.

However, there’s more to going to Soul Society just to save Rukia’s life. There are traitors in Soul Society playing everything out like they see fit. Ichigo and the rest of Soul Society must figure out who these traitors are and what they want with Rukia. Soul Society, along with Ichigo, must be prepared for what these traitors wish to do to Soul Society and the rest of the human world.
