Fullmetal Alchemist ~ Hagane no Renkin Jutsushi

I first came across Fullmetal Alchemist as I was perusing the animesuki bittorrent fansub list. The title itself drew my attention and the information about two young brothers who use alchemy intrigued me even more. But the information on this anime didn’t do it any justice. Which usually is the case with the better animes.
This anime carries many genres within it. When FMA is funny it’s HILARIOUS. When FMA is dramatic, its VERY SAD. When the action scenes come, they are EXHILIRATING. The characters in this series make it very worth watching. The character designs and development are excellent and the story is very CREATIVE.
Fullmetal Alchemist is a series which contains 52 episodes which first aired October 4th 2003 on TBS. FUNimation has recently licensed the anime. There are also rumors that Cartoon Network will show the anime in the fall of this year(October).
Square-Enix also has a game called Fullmetal Alchemist and the Broken Angel which will be released sometime soon in North America. BONES produced and animated FMA.(for a list of what BONES has done see below)

Story: We are introduced to two brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric who have recently lost their Mother. They decide to use forbidden human alchemy to revive their dead mother. What they tragically forget in their grief, is that in order to receive something through alchemy, you must first give…On that fateful night everything changed and the brothers left their home in order to help each other and make things right again.
