    Welcome to Inu-Yasha

    Inu-Yasha (Inuyasha)
Kagome Higurashi, leads a fairly normal life, in spite of her weird family. But that was until she was pulled down the sealed well at her families’ thousand-year-old Japanese temple by a demon.

Kagome finds herself in Feudal Japan. Where she is soon confronted by her odd resemblance to the miko (priestess) Kikyo, the girl who controlled the magical Shikon no Tama (Jewel of Four Souls) and imprisoned the legendary half-demon Inu-Yasha.

The demon that dragged Kagome into Fuedal Japan attacked her hunting the Shikon no Tama. Kagome unwittingly releases Inu-Yasha from his imprisonment, only to find that he is no hero.

Kagome learns that a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the jewel shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inu Yasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.
