Recreation What are/were you resolutions?

I know it's been a couple days since the New Year, but I was wondering what everyone's New Years resolutions are or were?

 

As posted on all of the other forums that asked this, my New Year's resolution is to be more obsessed with fire!

 

I'm gonna try and get a but more exersise, but i've got a lot of college and other work to do, so i'm going have to try and fit it in between them.

 

I didn't make any. I couldn't think of anything, really. Anyway, resolutions were traditionally little things, usually done in under half an hour, such as "I'll return Lucius's sickle today."

It's only in more recent years it was blown heavily out of proportion and the resolutions people make today tend to be life-altering, difficult decisions, that people get stressed out and worried about keeping, and usually fail. I don't like that, simply because it makes you feel bad about yourself because you couldn't keep it.

Thus, if I do make a resolution, I try to keep it simple and unimportant as in the days of yore. Usually I have to explain this every time I tell someone what my resolutions are, but it's better than failing and feeling bad about yourself.

Maybe I will return Lucius's sickle today...

 

I couldn't decide on what to think of to so were...1 million dollars...2 million dollers...and 3 million dollars...Yes I am greedy and selfish...oh and world domi...I mean world peace....

 

You should have made your resolution to be more obsessed with BJP! Or is that even possible?

Mine is to lose weight. And work on my anime, tv, and other collections. Plus put money into saving. Go to college in the fall. There is probably more.

 

1. quit smoking(....*sniffles)
2. come to school looking at least a little bit not stoned all the time (not yet)
3. quit getting in emo moods (almost)
4. become more obsessed with KoRn (and thats possible how..?)
5. Be nicer to people who i don't know (yes)
6. get rid of the old friends who backstabbed me ^_^ (did it)
7. get along with my mom (.....NEVER)

To lose 15 pounds so I can be 120 and get more into shape.
Also to keep at least a 3.8 GPA 3.906 now, and yes.. I very happy.

 

Really I wished for good grades in school(besides math )!!!

I am bombing in history and language arts...so if I got better grades everything would be better, and so I can come on the computer more!!!

 

History is so easy though! It's fun!

My resolution is corny, but true. I want to be a better friend to my friends, and not try and cover up the real me. I also want to become more outgoing.

 

To lose more weight and just be nice to people. I tend to debate on everything and sometimes lose track of what I'm actually saying at times. So yeah, those are my basic 2. Oh, and make it through my freshman year of highschool okay. ^^ But first, to pass the entrance exam this Saturday! Huzzah!

 

To not cause trouble for my amusement with others. hehe its sooo hard D: but so far doing OK
:/ people just make it tooooo easy and err not to use God's name in vain and no swearing. Failed so far but I'm not giving up!

By making that resolution, however, I failed. =(
