Gundam What did you think of Gundam Wing?

I didnt like it.It started off pretty good,but as the series progressed the pilots turn into morons who didnt know what they were fighting for.I thought that was ridiculous.Then there was Relena who would tell screw up a good fight.(Wing Zero vs Tallgeese in the snow,that battle would have been cool.)The Gundams were cool though.Epyon was cool as was Deathscythe Custom from Endless Waltz.

The story was fairly good,but the characters had a tendency to mess it up.

Well you might not know this already but my favourite anime is none other than Gundam Wing. Any other Gundam Series is ancient history. My favourite anime is Gundam wing. period

 

agh....i hate you, i hate gundam wing. Wing is not even close to, lets say, 0083, in every way possible, story wise, action scenes, characters, realism.

Edit: j/k i dont hate you, btw did u even watch any other gundam series beside Wing?

GW wasn't great tbh , the mecha was good ... but the characters... geez..

Relena kept messing things up (and she was an idiot , kept trying to get through to heero when he threatened to kill her 3 times)

Also the 5 vs 100 thing , got very boring

Yeah,that was another thing I didnt like about the series,it really seemed odd how these Gundam Pilots could beat hundreds of Mobile Suits by themselves,that did get boring.

the CUSTOMED gundams in endless waltz was pontless and perfetic compared with the normal gundam wing series. wing zero is the most powerfull gundam ever built. duo maxwell in this forums knows this well with the deathsythehell was made on gundam wing! all of the 0078 to 0083 are histroy!! old technology fighting for control NOT PEACE so gundam wing gets over that point. besides the pilots are better than anyother past gundam pilots and people who watch the whole series had a faverote pilot duo in this forum is duo maxwell ofcourse and mine is hero yuy!

 

Yes Gundam Wing is great , u either like it or u hate it , it can be too politically minded for some people though , the whole "what am i fighting for" sentance the pilots say about a million times through out it really do no justice to it but apart from that its good , i only saw the end of the series the other day , and i think i saw Endless Waltz too , it was strange because they were sending the custom models into the sun at the start , so i must have missed somtin there

 

That was why I didnt like Gundam Wing too much.Like I said in the first post the characters had a tendency to screw up what was a very good story.I dont think Gundam Wing was bad at all,I felt the story was good.Its just that "what am I fighting for" was used over and over and it became lame.

 

umm... hello. sory but IMvHO (v for very ^_^) the characters in gundam wing were not as bad when i watched it. id say that its only natural for the gundam wing pilots to question their motives for fighting since theyre not that old and mature enough, though they thought they were.

in a very one sided battle (like someone said, 5 against a hundred) they could only hope for a victory if they are sure of their motives for striving on. this is were they fail at a point. because in a war like that in gundam wing's nobody is clearly wrong or right, they are just people fighting for what they believe in. everybody doubts themselves once in a while. sory about that.

PS. as for releena, no arguments here. i dont like her character either. (still think she's pretty though.) ^_^

 

I loved Gundam Wing!!!! but, I never saw any other gundam series so I'll shut up now.....

 

I liked Gundam wing. I also liked 0083 and 0080. I didn't like 08th team though.

Each Gundam pilot in Gundam Wing have their own dark pasts and secrets quote form gw "quite people attract quite friends" they are all connected in their motives to what is right and who to fight for. the charaters are so indepth secretive you just can help you self but to get compelled in their dark intersting characters (if you know what i mean?)
