    What do U think of Tenchi?

    Personally, I don't like him, he's so annoying! And what's so great about him anyway? (apart from the whole Jurai prince thingy)
    He's not even a decent Bishounnen! Or even a very nice person! (in my opinion)
    His english voice is also really irritaing...

    I think Tenchi is more of a smarter, less accident prone version of Ketaro Urashima. Hell, if you look at the two tenchi anime and the Love Hina manga, they are kind of close (well, in the Tenchi series, the girls fight each other over him, while in Love Hina, the girls fight each other and him). Eh well, thats my two cents.


    I really can't say he's a good Bishounnen. But I think he is (or tries to be) a nice person.

    Uhhh...Tenchi wasn't exactly designed to BE bishounen. If he was, he'd have wavy hair, large but slitted eyes, a half-buttoned long-sleeve shirt, a woman's mouth, and be a hell of a lot skinnier. Perhaps, he'd even have longer to shoulder length hair. He's not a Chiba Mamoru, or a Kinomoto Touya, or a Hotohori, or a "Mr. Long Hair (Di Gi Charat)". He's Tenchi. A simple country boy who's nice on the inside, and doesn't have the heart to stay mad at anyone. He's been Ryoko's friend ever since he found that cave when he was young, her only comfort in a prison meant to keep her forever. He's the grandson of the crown prince of Jurai, and "supposed" affiance to his...aunt? cousin?

    He's also just nice. So, he acts like a jerk sometimes, he's NORMAL that way. He ain't super-tough, he ain't faster than anyone, and his power only comes out at his crew's "darkest hour!" And even then, even though it's the most powerful force, almost everyone comes the worse for wear. But he's nice. He's forgiving, and he's just caring about those he meets. I mean, look at Ryouga. He's a BIG jerk, dishonorable, and just plain mean, and people LOVE him. Tenchi's just normal.

    Me? I like him. He's normal enough to be me. Yet, so far beyond (in girls AND power) that it's always fun to watch. I don't know...but I think I'm talkin' straight.

    I'm not sure, I mean, I don't have anything against him, but he's too...... well..... normal, there is nothing praticularaly likeable about him.

    I think that was part of the point. He's just a normal guy thrown into one hell of a abnormal situation. Its good to see some mangas/animes with some normal characters who aren't as wacky, crazy or as brilliant as the others.

    I don't really know. I mean I personally am not of fan of Tenchi (The guy, not the show) however if he wasn't so great, he wouldn't have all those women fighting for just a tough.

    Likes- Hes smart and stands up for people
    Dislikes- He has too many wome to look after, I personally thig he should choose one and be happy :eek:

    Well thats my oppinion.

    i like him but i think something's a little off with him here he is having all these incredibly good looking women all wanting him and he does nothing with them there is something wrong with that....

    What's so special about him? He's not really cute at all, and the only reason I like him is because I think it's funny the way all these bad things are happening to him.

    I think Tenchi is a funny guy, however, I think he's too nice of a guy. Many times he whimped out around Sakuya just because she was a girl. I like men with spines.
    Also, Tenchi is not the most sexy guy in anime either.

    i like tenchi. he's my favorite character from the show. i'm mean being surrounded by 6 girls, i'm supprized he was't mackin' it with all of them.

    hes got a kind of weird face- i wonder wat ryoko sees in him!
    It seems they put all their attention on the girls, tenchi just holds the story 2getha, but nothing more

    he sucks at Bishounnen lol
    but hes a smart layed back person who likes to stay out of trouble but just can't help himself because of the wemon around him
    i like him. His english voice is really really really irritaing but some times he also very annoying to the point where i have to trun off the tv and do something else.:dizzy2: :shy3: :dizzy2: :shy3:
