Recreation What do you love about Christmas?

What do you love most about Christmas. The lights, the presents, what? I love the feeling of Christmas. I don't know whow to explain cause it's different for everyone but thats what I love about it.

 

well family gathering for me. When my dad was alive, it was a all- out jolly good time if you know what i mean. now i just love the thought that mabye i can see my dad's "side of the family" once a year!!

I love John and Yoko!! *_* but anyways, the whole feeling, and sounds, and sights are the best part for me.

 

^^ Christmastime always seems to bring out the best in people. Everybody's always so much nicer to one another (and much nicer to be around) around X-mas then they are during any other time of year, and it's fun to see everyone get so excited about something so......I don't know, simple. And I can't say I mind all the commercial hype, either, it puts everyone (including me) in such a good mood.... and the decorations are always so pretty, and, and... I want it to be Christmas right now! =)

Bull.

People get meaner, less patient, and angrier around Christmas, and it shows when they're shopping. As much fun as the season is supposed to be, I think most people have forgotten it. To me, it's just another day. It doesn't really have any special meaning anymore.

As sad as that is, it seems to me to be true.

what I like about christmas is the gathering of family memebers that you haven't seen in a while

 

I like the feeling of just sitting by my fireplace with my family and friends. It's great because I get to see family members who live far away from me. Man I love Christmas!

 

Weather change I suppose. SNOWBALL FIGHT!!!!!!!

And the Birth of Jesus

 

Scraping Ice off my car everymorning, the same pair of socks grandma always sends to you every year, the inflated prices at all the stores and shopping malls, scrambling to buy said products at the last minute, not having anywhere to park at the malls, Working until 1:30 in the morning on Christmas Eve then getting up at 6 to muster, the fact that every business in existence is shut down on x-mas day you can't get anything even if you tried, the smiling faces of joy on couples has they giggle and titter over thier meals while you head home cold and alone...

But most of all I love it when people walk up to you and say "Gosh, isn't this the jolliest time of the year?" and, despite yourself, you nod and say "Yeah... I guess it is."

...and you mean it!

I like the fact I get off of work. Dec. 24 to Jan 2. Oh my. That whole spend time with family stuff is nice too.
