Video Games What games would make a GBA worth buying?

I've been debating for a while now whether I should get a GBA, but the thing is, I'm not sure what games I'd buy if I did. So far, the only ones I know I'd want are Pokemon Ruby (shaddap, I like the Pokemon games XD), Golden Sun, and possibly the new Harvest Moon game that's coming out. Anyone know of some really good GBA games? What would be your first pick if you had just decided to get a GBA?

On the other hand, I could save a bit more and get a Gamecube instead (more games that I want, but more expensive and it's not portable :/).

Or, hell, I could just save my spending money for something "useful." XD

Out of the ones you mentioned so far i would say Golden Sun. But me i would go for the classics really....

What i mean by that is buy like Super Mario bros 1 or 3 and Donkey Kong (snes). I would like to play those while im in a long train ride.

 

Depends on what genre you like.

Final Fantasy Tactics, Golden Sun, Castlevania, Advance Wars...etc etc. All good games.

But still, a GameCube is still good. I think you should go for that instead.

 

My personal favorites on the system are Golden Sun, Sword of Mana, Metroid Fusion, and Metroid Zero Mission, that I can think of off the top of my head. I've not played any of the others you mentioned, so I wouldn't know if they're any good.

 

Golden Sun, Golden Sun The Lost Age, Megaman EXE., Super Mario Advance 1, PKMN Saph. I dont play GBA much, so I couldnt list much games.

 

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire, the Castlevania games, Lunar, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Breath Of Fire, Breath Of Fire II, Tactics Ogre: The Knight Of Lodis...

Yeah, I think that's all that's held my interest on GBA, heh. Then of course, Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green, whenever those come out.

 

Hmm... Well, thank you. ^^ Most of the titles mentioned were already ones I'd given some slight thought to... I guess I'll wait until the GBA is cheaper and there are more games out for it. I'd really considered it in part because my GBC has a dead sound system - the GBA would have been kind of a replacement, but with the potential for new games.

Golden sun 1 and 2 is the best games for GBA,But you will get bored of it same as I.

I was happy when i'm going to buy GBA but then i got bored of it, and now it's all dusty.

 

Any of the GBA Castlevanias would be a good choice. They're challenging and really fun, although they are a little on the short side. Also, one of them has a really dark color scheme that's makes it difficult to see what is happening sometimes (I don't remember the name right now, but it was the first one made for GBA).

 

Give me a really good version of any sports game, and I would buy the new GBA. That is mostly what I play anyway.

Fire Emblem is one of my favorites but Metroid Zero Mission or Metroid Fusion. Those are my favorite games but Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is great.

id have to say some of the best games are LEGEND OF ZELDA A LINK TO THE PAST,ROCKMAN AND FORTEA[AKA megaman and bass],GOLDEN SUN 1&2,MEGAMAN BATTLE NETWORK,BLACKTHORN,METROID,AND STREET FIGHTER ALPHA.
