Recreation What happens to p**n stars when they retire?

ummmm, i guess they would just have to live with it. I mean it's in the past and there nothing that ca nbe done.
I suppose it would be better for the mother to sit down and talk with them about it.
Though i guess the kid may end up questioning who their real parents may be.
It's difficult to say how things would pan out, the child may except that this is what their mother/father did for a living or they may not.

 

i wouldnt marry a pornstar....and i wouldnt like having a pornstar as a father/mother...
wich brings me a question: are there male pornstars?

Never watched any of his films but i've seen him in a number of small movie rolls, and even in that Moby video "We are ll made of stars", i think it was called.

 

Well, personally, I don't see that being a porn star is all that different from any number of jobs. I mean, really, models and porn stars are just barely different, since they both use their body to make money.

I doubt that a retired porn star's life is really all that different from an actor's, unless the individual happened to be famous. There are a lot of people, both women and men, who at some point posed for nude or erotic photos to make a few bucks, and it's really not all that big a deal.

As to porn stars are parents... It's just a job. I mean, anyone who's got kids has obviously been having sex, so do porn stars deserve to be seen as better or worse than other parents? Nah. You wouldn't tell your kid "I work at a morgue dissecting dead people" until the child is old enough to understand that, and the same goes for an "adult" career.

 

They all become Volvo driving soccer moms ... sorry, but someone had to say that.

A lot of the really big porn stars become directors (of adult films, of course), or even start their own studios. A few examples come to mind from a documentary I watched a year or so ago, but I can't remember the names.
And yes, others do take on "legitimate" careers, such as the aforementioned Ron Jeremy, in roles in such classics as Orgazmo and Boondock Saints.

 

I really wonder what would happen if a pornstar was like 60 years old, and then her son was watching some porn and he saw his mom in it, and he got turned on. What would happen?

aw gawds!!! that poor lad would probably have mental problems later and have a scar from it...its kinda funny tho

it would be pretty weird if you had a parent/parents that were porn stars. does any one think that other kids would probably pick on them ? " your mommy's a s**t"? on some level it would be troubleing :dizzy2:

 

i'd like to see them take a similar role to retired sport stars. we could have retired porn stars giving a running commentary though the films... and possibly conducting interviews with the director and cast afterwards. :anime:

or possibly they could all run for office in California?

(i think they just have to cop it, like it or hate it, it's not up to them to control their 'work' when they retire, so if they've got kids, then they just have to live with it, like anyone else.)

And yeah, sooner or later, I would wager that SOME relative of these "stars" will see their work. There is quite a market for "vintage" porn, I hear. How you could find low-quality film and production attractive is beyond me ...
