Recreation What id your greatist Fear!

Standing infront of a great mass of people while hearing my speech, I just feel like everyone is judging me >.< Im shivering now from the thought of it! I remeber in 9th grade we had a 'Speech' class where we had to do several speeches infront of the classroom. The first time I did my speech, I couldn't face the students cuz someone of the jokers were making faces and they made me laugh. So in my presentation I look at the teacher and talk to him, but :shy: he keeps telling me to face the class. I was a nervous reck. You could see the paper that I'm holding in my hands shake like crazy!!

I would never forget that dat >.< He gave me an 82% because "Eye contact is very important" arggggggghhh

 

Public speaking's one of those things some people can do and some can't. Look at Jean Chretien or George W. Bush for examples .

For me, the usual response is "flight". I'm kind of like a Tenessee Williams character, I guess. Not that I don't want to face my problems, but I'm not a fighter by nature, and when I fight, stuff starts to get hurt. Be it feelings, bodies, or myself, it's not a pretty sight.

 

my worst fear is failure. To fail in a way I can never repair. To let a friend or family down. To not do to the best of my ability. To BE a failure, now there's the rub. Although I hate spiders and all creepy crawlys I don't really FEAR them ya know? that's what shoes are for right? Death to spiders! bru ha ha ha! ~end my first message here~

 

I ph33r nothing and no one. I don't have any phobias, be they spiders, snakes, darkness or height(having picked up spiders, touched snakes, genraly not fearing the dark, and jumped out of planes), and when it comes to the 'big' issues, I figure, what's the use worrying about them, what's going to happen will happen. **** it, that's my motto. Well one of them anyway.

 

im not afraid of failure.. ive gotten used to it. im not afraid of death.. ive never known it. but my deepest fear is a strong phobia of nuclear war/annihilation.. deeper than it seems.. so i suppose i fear death is a way.. but its not the death that scares me.. its the complete annihilation of innocense.. childern turned to vapor.. radiation sickness slowly finishing off there parents.. seeing a flash so blinding youd think the sun itself had exploded.. then feel your whole self burn away.. thats my fear.

Anyway...I'm not afraid of death, Ive had a good run.
I'm not afraid of the dark (anymore)
Not spiders...i just got Oh my *Splat!!!*

But hey thats just me.

 

Dying...eventhough we all have to go sometimes. I'm just so scared of it.

 

My fear is pretty rational. I fear the mentally unstable. Not like those nice little tour groups of (um... is there a nice way of putting it? ) retards which I seem to keep sharing trains with, but, you know, those people who swear and scream on street corners, or retards who chase you around on trains? They have no grasp of social rules and ettiquette, and obviously have a shakey grip on reality, you never know what they are going to do. When I'm on a bus/train/ street corner, and someone completely incoherent starts yelling gibberish at me, I just get wigged. I tend to keep a cool head and not show the fact that I now have brown trousers, but sometimes I just end up running away from them.
They're scaaaaary...

I afraid of not breathing...to suffocate.....i don't care if im shot or an axe cuts me up
if i dont have air i freak....esp. when my air pack goes off and im trying to take off my mask toget air......
why....why....thats why i dont swim much. bc i am afraid of drowning no air to brain is brain damage and i got enough of that
