Cowboy Bebop What if..

    What if there was going to be a second series of Cowboy Bebop and you were chosen to be the writer. How would you do it? Who will it involve? Will there be a new character among the cast of Cowboy Bebop?

    In the series I would have it so Spike were still alive, and he has a family with Faye, and their family is like a bounty hunter clan or something. I'm not sure where Ed would play a role in it... maybe she can be a character who pops up, or someone who they have to stop because she's blowing up planets...

    Like I said once before.. You just cant re-write something that is so great as it is..

    i dont even want to fathom changing aything..

    But it be cool if they put out.. THE LOST EPS.(not that there is any) . stuff that you could fit in between

    Make up some "lost eps" in which the adventures were more of just Spike, Faye, and Jet. But, that's going the route of the movie. So, what about more of, or possibly even showing, the time Spike was in the Syndicate? Where it was just him, Vicious, and Julia. Really dark, from what I can tell can come from that.

    If it's a direct sequel, probably do something with Faye out on her own. Then with Jet on his own, then coming in together for a few duet missions. It wouldn't be as good though, since Spike was like glue to those others.

    Gah! Edit: By the way, this is my 1337 post! Why? Because I am NOT 1337. Hehe...yay.

    They are some great ideas Izzy,

    Any new ep's would have to be a prequel to the series

    I like the idea of showing the full story of spike and vicious and there "happy happy joy joy" ;) adventures

    I also agree that a prequel series for Bebop about Spike while in the Syndicate would be cool - I'd definitely want to check that out.

    Also, has anyone seen the OVAs to Irresponsible Captain Tylor? The second DVD is just a bunch of episodes about different crew members and what happens to them after the TV series . . . and it's very different compared to the TV series, but for some reason I like those episodes a lot. I think it would be interesting to do something like that with Cowboy Bebop, in which they could make some OVAs about each character after the fact, though I don't think these should be too drawn out and long. I guess you could think of them as a couple small epilogues.

    But if another series isn't to be made . . .well . . . I won't be complaining. I really like the series as it is, with a kick@$$ movie to boot.

    OR, as another thought, how about a series that starts with Spike BEFORE he was even in the Syndicate? That would allow the introduction, possibly, of other characters and would involve how he got involved with the Syndicate, or meet Vicious, and then weave into his life in the Syndicate.
