Anime What is Harukanaru Toki no Naka de about?

What is Harukanaru Toki no Naka de about?
Is it any good? I heard it has somethning to
do with Seiryuu and Suzaku. Is it a fushigi Yugi spin off?
I saw a few pictures and the act looks like it is.

 

Well, HaruToki is about a high-school girl named Akane who gets transported to another world via a sealed well. She is supposed to be the Priestess of the Dragon God, and she's supposed to save the kingdom of Kyou (a Heian era style country). The four guardian deities--Seiryuu, Suzaku, Byakko, and Genbu--were stolen by the leader of the Oni, and the Priestess of the Dragon God is suppose to get them back (from what I understand, at any rate). She has eight protectors to help her on this quest. Two of them came with her from her world, but the rest are from the kingdom of Kyou.

I'm enjoying it so far, but I'm finding I really like the series that are based on girls' dating simulation games. Yes, HaruToki falls into that category.

This series is not a Fushigi Yugi spin-off. Seiryuu and Suzaku show up in a lot of different anime series in one form or another. There are a fair number of elements that seem similar, but there are also elements that remind me of Inuyasha in this series. HaruToki is its own beast. And there are lots of pretty boys. ^_^
