Last Exile What is it?

I know its about flying planes and whatnot, but was this considered a slashable anime? Seems possible 'cause of Deo, was his name?

Yes, Last Exile is an honest to god anime title. A pseudo futuristic world where aircraft run off of an alternate source of power. They dont require wings or even propellers in the same sense that we do. A pair of kids get caught up in a struggle for power, and find themselves in the middle of a war escorting a strange little girl wanted by some very nasty individuals. There's more to it, but I don't want to give too much away.
