to start from the beggining...

Kenshin's parents both died of Cholera when he was only three...he was called Shinta then. he was sold into slavery because he was an orphened child. this band of slavers were moving from one town to the next when they were attacked by a band of ronin. he was the only boy among a group of girls whom he had adopted as his older sisters. so he tried to fight the ronin but the three girls protected him and gave their lives to keep him alive. by a stroke of luck Hiko Seijuurou was in the area and stepped in and quickly killed all the ronin. He told kenshin to go into the next town and ask for help and to explain his situation. When Hiko went to the town he asked about the boy but the manager of the local market said that there hadnt been any boy passing through town. Hiko decided that he had commited suicide and that he would go and bury his victims bodies...however upon returning to the field where he had fought the ronins he found that each body had been buried carefully...Shinta stood in the center of the graves of three rocks which acted as headstones for his three sisters. Hiko pour some sake over them as a blessing. he asked Shinta his name and upon his reply told him that it wasnt a name suited for a warrior and that he would be now known as "Kenshin" (lit. sword heart) and that he woulod weild the finest weapon. if you want to know more just say so and ill put up some more...
