What is the coolest monster you have ever encountered in Final Fantasy. It can be a summon monster too .

 

Man.....there are soooooooooo many monsters. Heh...I think Cacti was quite funny especially in FFVIII when he was enormous and his attacks were quite special, random objects falling on you and his wrestling drop down on you.

If you're talking about Summons then... Bahamut was damn cool in most FFs, he's usually on of the best summons.

well, i think it would have to be that thing in ff9. i dunno wat its called, but its this little green cactas thing, and when i fought it, there where three, and im like "uh, wat the hell?" then they did their attack "1000 needles" or something.
lol. i died against them.

and on this island in ff9, there ar these things called "Yams" lol. theyr cute, and then they killed me.

(note: if anyone can correct me on the names, or attaks that i wrote wrong, id apreciate it. i havent played that game in ages so i cant remember the names and stuff)

Omega on FF5 its fun to get beat up by it. and its also hard to sneeak by it the first time. although after a bit its an easy fight, but other then that.
its like Battle, you enter, it uses beam cannon, (1/2 hp).
you cast haste on the mime in you group. then have the mime use BOLT 3 on her swords. have the mage cast cure3.
next round. pray you have flame rings, cause here come the atomic ray.
if the mime isn't dead. have her use X-fight. smash 8 hits with the bolt3 sword and it should die.


oh by the way i think that he means the sheep things on vile island.

 

I believe you refer to the "Yan". Little Sheep like creatures who cast their really annoying "Comet", which kills your team in one blow if you haven't gained enough levels. As Mog said they can be found in the forests of Vile Island (The triangle-looking island on the western side of the Outer Continent (Look for a big mountain). Vile Island is also the place where you get the Chocograph "Fairy Island 1" or 2. Here are also the "Friendly Yan" which are the last of the "Mu" (Those little monsters all over the world asking for gems or stones) and he asks for, If i remember correctly, a Emerald. Beware of the Fake-Cat or something like that on the small spread Islands on the south part of the map (something-Archipelago i believe it is called(tip of the Forgotten Continent (where you find Grand Dragons) since it asks for the Emerald you are supposed to give to the Friendly Yan, but enough about that!

I like Yojimbo from FFX or Anima...Yojimbo because he is a Samurai (At least he carries a Katana/Masamune (I learn Kendo myself), and Anima since he just looks so awesome!

2. Alexander saving Alexandra and battling Bahamut in FF9

3. Seifer fighting Squall in the intro. Seifer fans don't get mad at me for calling him a monster.

To many to name one;

ff7= Knights of the round... specially when you use it against an enemy with about 500 hp... OVERKILL INDEED

Omega weapon in ff8... only thing that was remotly a challenge & lil Pupu the alien... i killed it

ff9 = id rather not remember that awful game... any game that only lasts 15hrs on you're first try isnt worth mentioning

ff10 = I would have to go with Yojimbo as well

 

FF6> Gau... it was the funniest battle, and the best IMO
FF7> Sephiroth
FF8> Jumbo Catuar
FF9> Beatrix
FF10> Yojimbo

 

Not only the COOLEST... but probably the hardest enemies outa all Finaly Fantasy.

Emerald and Ruby Weapons ... extremely difficult... takes a few trys, or a strat guide to beat them.

 

Meh ruby was easy for it's first move on me was to kill the other two, which turned out is what you're meant to do *shrugs*

Emerald... was a challenge... i did manage to kill it before the time limit reached zero... but the damn thing took it's sweet time disintigrating... thus i drowned (then i kicked myself as i scanned over a friends strategy guide), so yeah it was a slight challenge but hardly the best

 

Tonberries would have to be my favorite. Who knew a kitchen knife would be fatal, eh?

Mine would have to be an enemy from VII. I think it was called a Vla(forgot the rest). It was in the Icicle area, around Bone Village, and after summoning Kjata, Bahamut, using Climhazard, Grenade omb, Boost Jump, and about 4000 damage worth of regular attacks, it wouldn't go down. So I think its cool. And in V, there were those little grey ratsin the area where you got Odin, and their attacks do 1500 damage to you your fist time through. They were so cool.

 

Is that the red dragon thing with the rare nut you need for the chocobo's?

 

FF7, I believe it was called a Hungry? That thing was my hero. It sharnk my charries and ate them!
