What is the most hardest Part in CGing?
Well I thing it's the cleaning part. When you scan your picture and it's ready to be Colored.... but before that you have to take off the grey annoying small lines...

i agree...that does seem to be the longest part. you get really picky(i do anyways) about how clean, or what line to leave...it's also during this part i see if after, i need to darken alot more or what. or maybe it'll look better with a line removed...

The cleaning can actually take seconds if you have Adobe Photoshop.

CGing is very time consuming for me, so I voted for that.

For this I'd have to say drawing is the hardest part for me... I'm a bit meticulous when it comes to it :dizzy2: Like if I see a line that is weird looking I erase and erase and erase... I should try to have a bit more confidence in my drawings >.< But I find it hard to draw using a mouse as well(even though it's optical, it's still a pain). But colouring it in with a CG program is the funnest part :D I have been using the channel mixer to change colours of certain things, and even create shading (it's sort of a style I like ^^;;;) ooooooo! and then finding all of these crazy effects just to add for fun, like chrome and lens flare :D

    I know >.< I'm getting off topic....

I find Cleaning the hardest, especially because I never ink in my drawings... mainly cause I stuff them up when I do

Colouring is annoying too... the way I do it anyway, just getting colours right, what I do is in Photoshop I put a duplicate layer of the picture over the backround, so the two layers are the same... I turn down the opacity of the top layer so its see through.... then on the bottom layer I do the colours. it gives the whole picture a really nice water colour style to it. The colours change slightly though and its hard to get a vibrant colour

Does anyone else do it like that?

I picked drawing the pic as the hardest part. Cuz first of all you gotta come up with a concept, then decide on the composition. And getting each body part, piece of clothing, piece of the background, all just right, can take a very long time. Cleaning up a pic is much easier, with adjusting Levels and Gamma Correction, or just erasing the excess. But it's the actual drawing (or redrawing while cleaning up) that I find the hardest. Coloring is the fun part, even though it takes hours as well.

drawing the pic is the hardest, closely followed by colouring the hair. x_X.

I'd have to say colouring is the hardest. With photoshop, all I use to clean is the brightness/contrast tool with brightness at 20 and contrast at 10. But of course that doesn't work so well if the picture isn't inked.

I'm a lil new at Cging, but I'd say cleaning it up is the hardest part. I can never really do that great with it. ^.^

I really need to find a cure on smudging........

In stead of scanning my picture and trying to color from there, I use the line tool in Adobe Photoshop and kinda "trace" over my drawing onto a new layer. So, for me, getting rid of unwated clutter on a picture isn't really a hard concept. I suck at trying to do it the other way... :sweat2:

Coloring isn't too hard until you get to the part when you're adding texture and shading. I'm still trying to learn how to make all that work...heh.. so I would have to say that that part of coloring is is the hardest part of CGing

Drawing is hard.. because I can't draw. :p

Either way, the cleaning process can be very easy... Magic Wand, Zoom, and Alt+Lasso are your best friends. :]
