we have a word for 'close to hentai', Ecchi, Golden Boy is pg-13 at worst
Hentai means pervert/perverted and refers to X rated (us standards) anime. and some of that realy dosent qualify. 'doji for example actuly has a plot and a very complicated story line, something lacking in true hentai.

Bloodrayne the movie has a few sex sceens but you wouldn't call it a porno would you?

even in the US we alow a little nudity in PG movies as long as its not in a sexual situation...

sorry i get bothered when people refer to tame material as H when it's not even close. don't get me wrong, the Golden Boy himself (Kentaro Oe) is A hentai, but the show is ecchi at most lol (but then most males in anime are either hentai or so afrade of sex that they run from any advance made by a female)


back on topic....

...as you would guess, I liked Golden Boy, very funny.
other good ones (imo) Project A-ko, Ranma 1/2, Tenchi, Ah! My Goddess, El Hazard, (yes I loved Love Hina also), Ping Pong Club was kinda funny but i think they took it too far sometimes, Urasai Yatsura (those obnoxious Aliens), NGE has its share of fan service (but no real ending, author killed himself before finnishing, drove him mad writing it), Fooly Cooly (flcl) was twisted, short and confusing as all hel, but had it's ecchi moments.

another twisted one was called something like Critical Situation, each 10-15 min ep was explaining how the main char got into and out of there realy tight spots, like a documentery but weird, quite warpped but funny.

i still like Lupin III to but then i am old enough to remember when it was new.

there was one called something like Sexy Commando, not what you'd think, but kinda funny at times, not realy ecchi but close. it was very silly.

all i can think of atm, and again i appologise for the minor tirade


oh yah, I loved One Piece before they started dubbing it, but i don't see the ecchi-ness of it realy

this thread isn't asking for 'perverted' or 'hentai' anime tho. it's asking what's the most sexiest NON hentai anime. It's not even asking for perverted anime, because an anime does not ahve to be perverted to be sexy.

For me....Tokyo Mew mew *shot* What? their battle costumes are like lingerie!!!

But i kid, I kid. I can't think of a sexy non-hentai anime...I can think of sexy CHARACTERS (mmmm....Seto Kaiba and Roy Mustang....yummmm) but the animes they come from aren't sexy on a whole. (although Yuugiou is a yaoi fangirl's playground...)

So i guess TMM is my pick for sexiest non-hentai.

 

Lets me rephrase what i THINK FR said =P i could be wrong and i coult have mis understood him but this is what i think he said the person Put NoN-Hentai becuase if he said what is the sexiest anime someone would have said a hentai anime...... now the man who made this thread is saying which ANIME(Full Metal Alchemist Rurouni Kenshin Full metal panic) with NO hentai at all has the hottest girls combined in that anime,

I would have to Say Love Hina even tho i never watch it iv seen some episodes. I dont think they have sex or anything just nudity or sumthing
