    A multi-episode cinematic anime RPG that serves as a prequel to Squaresoft's Xenogears.

    If you're not a fan of classic console style RPGS, anime, or long cutscenes, it's not your cup of tea. Otherwise, it's a definite must play. Engaging, challenging, and entertaining on several levels. :)

    Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht

    Been out for some time now, and perhaps the longest RPG for the PS2 platform. It's recently re-appeared on shelves in Greatest Hits form, so a very nice buy.

    Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose

    Due out first quarter next year. Still need to finish that wonderfully massive 1st episode, myself. ^^

    Oh, BakaMattSu... You forgot one. It's not as new, and isn't done by the same company, but it's a part of the series nonetheless.

    Xenogears, by Squaresoft, for the PS1.

    It is Episode 5 in the series, and occurs 15,000 years after Episode 1.

    Now, my time is short, so I will provide you with a link, instead of explaining it myself. Just go here.

    As for Episodes 1 and 2, I finished 1, but I never knew 2 was out. I'll have to start looking for it. (But if I find it, I'll spend money, and my new computer will have to wait even longer :sad: )

    Read his post over. He said First Quarter next year. And also, you both forgot the Xenosaga that was just released. I forgot the name, but its some kind of import, like FFX-2 had Last Mission.

    I had heard the Xenogears line was crapped out, because of Square dropping the series, but still holding the license. Thus, Saga will have a bit of a different story.

    Although, that theory is out the window because you STILL see the Zohar (and aptly named so) still in Saga.

    And Xenosaga Episode 1: Reloaded is also pretty much a rerelease. All that's different is a few in-game videos. Nothing much else, as far as more depth though.

    It will come, hopefully, sometime in the beginning of next year. But hey, it's usual with games coming late to Europe, so basically, all we have to do is wait with deep patience.

    It may not be a legal sequel, but it is linked with Xenosaga. My best suggestion is to play the game.

    What are you on? It's fairly clear that he said Xenogears is out, hence prequel. Prequel as in the events in it occur prior to Xenogears, which is the original game.

    Oops, I guess I wasn't paying full attention. I didn't realize he mentioned it, only that he didn't explain anything about it.

    And, "Naruto," I am not "on" any kind of product that impairs my senses. (Drugs, Alcohol, etc.)
