    I think he´s just genetically enhanced. NOT a vampire.

    There's a whole cutscene devoted to Vincent. He's a genetically enhanced human that Hojo experimented on, as a side....project because Hojo wanted Lucretia.

    It may just be the fact that I haven't played FFVII in years, but where is it suggested he's a Vampire? Because I can't remember it ever being suggested, I only remember it being told that he was genetically altered as has been stated.

    i also think he is genetically enhanced.
    he couldn't be a vampire cause he can walk around in bright daylight.
    i don't think he has fangs either.
    my thoughts.

    Exactly, but in the net many people say hes a vampire (why?) Maybe it´s because he cant be 27, because the Hojo stuff happened before Sephiroth was born if I remember correctly, and Vincent was 27 back then. Sephiroth was Hojos and Lucrecias child. When Hojo did the genetic enhancing Sephiroth wasn´t born yet. When Cloud was a child, Sephiroth was a grown up, and Vincent was in the coffin. When Cloud was 21 he woke Vincent up, and he can´t possibly be 27, but how come he looks like 27? Thats probably why some people think he´s a vampire, but they don´t believe he´s genetically enhanced. Those people probably missed something in the game.

    They really might be fans of the game, and probably wrote some fanfiction based on the facts you stated.

    Truthfully, Vincent's agelessness can be due to the fact that his genetic enhancements slowed down his aging. The only real characteristic of a "traditional vampire" that I've seen that he as is this fact. Or the fact that he can turn into a vampire-like demon.

    But, then again, he DOES turn into a wolfman and a parody of the Frankenstien monster as well.

    I know that Izzy, he is genetically enhanced, so that his aging is slowed down. It´s just that the people in the websites that say he´s a vampire don´t know that.
