Anime What is your favorite anime that started out as a manga?

Um there is a poll above with five choices, but any one where is alright oh yeah the question is what is your favorite anime that was a manga first

Mine was Dragonball Z.

 

I guess it would have to be Love Hina. Though i really thought that the manga was far better then the anime.

Hard to answer this question/poll for two reasons. One, if I were just going by the series you have listed...it doesn't nearly cover the range of anime that were manga first (most anime are derived from manga). Second, I have a very hard time listing my favorite series in the first place.

Still....I guess Saiyuki falls into that category (manga was better than the anime, though). I like Kodomo no Omocha, although I have yet to see most of the anime. Fruits Basket is another series I like a lot.

There. I gave you three, off the top of my head. There are a lot of other series I love beyond that. *shrug*
