Hybrid Rainbow by the pillows, from episode 2 of FLCL. It plays in the scene where Mamimi first sees Canti. It is one of the greatest pieces of cinematography I have ever seen, and the best japanese songs I have ever heard. Damn, I got to watch FLCL again.

Favorite Opening/Closing Anime song has been done. I know. But what is your favorite overall anime song?

I would have to say that my favorite is any Sailor Moon song. I think that and Inuyasha have the best songs overall but my absolute favorite would have to be

Sasayakana Inori

It is really good and it's one of those songs that never gets old.

I love blue from Cowbo Bebop,i recently discovered it,and i love it.

Aoi no Requiem, the opening theme of Samurai Deeper Kyo is probably my single favourite song at the moment, but there are dozens of songs that I like a lot.

 

Gundam Seed first opening... Invoke by TM Revolution. Tis good.

 

A couple from Hellsing. Hi Shinkeishou Teki Sute Kyoku ~ Omaera Ittai Nan Nan Da, Fuseijitsu Na Michi No Ue De No Survival, and Kannouteki Yuuwaku no Wana ni. I think those are the titles, not one hundred percent sure, hehe. Though I like most of the Hellsing music and some of the Cowboy Bebop and Trigun music is pretty cool to.

 

Tactics, the ending from the early episodes of Rurouni Kenshin, performed by The Yellow Monkey is a classic. Actually, it was my favourite part of what little of the series I've seen.
Fake Wings by Yuki Kajiura from .hack//sign and The Key of the Twilight from the same artist and series are other classics, though.

 

At the moment Rinbu Revolution (the opening theme from Shoujo Kakumei Utena) and Chain' After You (from one of the Sera Myu's) are tied.

 

*hugs DS* I LOVE GIVE A REASON!! o.o It is so amazing. I love it. The animation sequence that goes with it is also great, but the song itself is... pure beauty. ;_; I also love Rinbu Revolution. ^_^

Favorite... Well... I'd have to say... Cruel Angel's Thesis (Eva), and... Music Is My Thing (Hikaru no GO), and... Love Revolution (Gundam Wing...ish). AND! *before forgetting* To Nowhere (hack/SIGN).
