Anime What kind of charicter does a anime series have to have?

Just a random thing I thought of.

 

Animes always need that one perverted character v(^.-)

 

Hm...well, it will really not be good if a character were totally perfect, like cute, smart, good-looking, and everything.

I think a good character should be cute and smart, probably adventurous, ok, and maybe good-looking too, but perhaps with a tiny flaw that will be characteristic, but not too hurtful to the image of the character. With that, the story should be more intersting!!

 

I said cute ^_^ you've always got to have a character thats kawaii

Well, think about it! Every series needs a sensible, feet-on-the-ground character. ^^ Plus, glasses are a cute accessory. :catgirl:

 

I voted for other because 'stupid' characters have to be in an anime series. If something happen the author would use the stupid character to explain something. For Example, Kenshin defeated () and Yahiko asked 'how did he defeat him?' then one of the characters would explain to her .. in a way they are explaining to us.

 

Hm....VERY good point. (Like Gourry in Slayers. I asked something, then he went and asked it. I felt sooooo stupid. ^^;; It was so funny, though!)

I wanted to vote for cute chibi characters and smart, but I ended up choosing smart because they are the one's who create all of the awesome strategies, what would the Sailor Scouts be like without Sailor Mercury ya know? and the Marionettes without Cherry and the crew of the Nadesico without Yurika...ummm nevermind that last one but Yurika is smart, but acts stupid...

It's true!

Gourry is the perfect example! He's perverted, stupid and courageous to the point of being insane!

Like in the first episode:

"Man, with all the excitement I thought she'd be a babe, but all it is is some little kid, some wide-eyed, flat-chested little kid!"

And then: "I understand! I understand completely! You need a friend!"

He's thick, but then he goes and does something smart.
I love Gourry! ^^ And there's many more and better explanations in the series.

I used to keep pronouncing his name Goo-ry until I learned to say Gow-ry. It just seems logical for me that it be pronouned Goo-ry, no matter how many times I heard it! ^^

Rurouni Kenshin

adventurous- Yahiko, sano

cute- Tsubame, sometimes Kaoru

smart- Kenshin, aoshi, saitou, shishio, megumi<HOHHOOHOHOH!>

perverted- Sano and Yahiko(just a little)

i think a good anime series should have at least one suave good-looking cool guy character who's down to earth, has a sense of humor, and is realistic ya know, someone just like spike from cowboy bebop ^.^ every anime series should have a guy like spike *sigh* lol

Every series should have all of the above, but perverts are funniest(even if it's acceidental perversion).

 

I personally don't like perverted people, they scare me. Expecailly after one of my teachers grabed my butt. He's going to stop teaching next year though yay!
