What programs do you use to CG your drawings?

There are several programs that are helpful in making CG, computer graphics, do you usually like to used such programs or do you usually used other mediums?

:) There are several good programs but they are really very expensive. I wonder how you guys CG, or color. There are online programs that are free and making graphics is similar to making a CG at Adobe photoshop. I believe they are called Oekaki's...

    Survey...

Energizer Bunny, don't say such things... It's not important to even know about those programs if your a good artist ;) (you are)... Pencils and ink are essencial, and important.. I like to use them more than the computer and those programs. They are one of my steps towards producing a good CG... not to mention that they are the real art.

It's just a survey ;)... so I can have a good understanding of what M2A members use...

If I *had* drawings of any stature, I would fire up my good ol' Photoshop 4.0 (yes 4 point oh!) to finish it off. It is my premiere editing tool when it comes to doing anything remotely artistic...

BakaMattSu, remotely artistic in a sad way...

I CG my drawings usually with color pencils. But now, I am beginning to know how to use Adobe Photoshop ^o^ The magic of it is so awesome, and I love CGing with it. So, Adobe for me ^^

Adobe is a treasure! Hugs her Adobe program. ;.; I've went through all that pain to get it...
Yes it's really helpful and makes CGing a piece of cake! In addition to all those marvelous effects one make.

Yuna's drawings are cool. She uses a lot of techinques in Adobe, I hope I can learn them as well as she does. (looks at the Mascot she made)

Seraphims mascots was awsome too ;.;...I wish I was creative... There are a lot of talented ppl around M2A...

YO Sachiko and BakaMattsu! We wanna see samples of your art! If you ofcourse don't mind, pretty please :)?

I'd have to say I do use Adobe Photoshop for a lot of work, yet since I don't have a tablet, I draw everything with me nifty left hand and all the work I am proud of is done with watercolours.

I'm prone to use Photoshop for my art slaughterings, maybe I'll whip up some wallpapers and post 'em or something, then you can all gag (with a spoon no less!) in turn at them.

Hmmm, what I usually do is draw the picture in pencil then scan it and colour it in either Adobe Photoshop or Metacreations Painter. [advertiser mode] Painter is really awesome though!!! check it out everyone, you can do all these awesome effects like fire and use brushes that create an actual effect that's like oil paintint [/disoriented advertiser mode]

True true! Painter is a great program. Allows you to contol and customize your brushes. It's like a using real colors and medium inside your computer. :)

No one however goes to any Oekaki forums to do art... hmm why?
I do go there not to draw, but just to see the fine art of several online artists. Anyone tried it or seen an Oekaki before?

    Well I use a 100% FREE software called Pixia - it's JAPANESE!

Of course, I use the english translation. It's got everything (well, almost :I ) that photoshop, but it's a great relief to my economy because it's FREE!!!!

But I wish there was a program where I could design 3D anime models - Lightwave can do that (with some plugins), but I'm not THAT crazy to spend thousands of dollars for a very specific application *SIGH*.

    Oh well...

Firstly, Sachiko, 0wn4g3. Good on ya.
Secondly, I don't CG, 'cause I can't get my ****ing **** assed ******** spooge mouthed ****ing **** cow ****er scanner to work. But if I did, I'd use Adobe, Jasc paintshop, Windows Paint and Corel, because they're what I use to draw stuff. I'm not very good at using corel though. So for now, if I want to colour stuff, I need to use pencils and markers. But usualy I don't colour my pics, I like 'em better in monochrome.

I used pencils and watercolors. Stuff like that. I would show you but I don't have a program at home that would show these type of things.

I have both Adobe PhotoShop and Jasc PainShopPro (PSP), but I almost always use PSP for everything. There's just something so rewarding in using a program that can do nearly everything that PhotoShop can do while costing only 1/10 the price! (Of course, I actually got both programs for free.)

I've been using PSP for CG-ing my work in only the past few years. Maybe I'll post some of my work sometime.
