Computer in french is "ordinateur", which is masculine (Un ordinateur, not une ordinateur). If you guys didnt know it yet, hehehe. You people call computers "comps" well here we call ordinateurs "ordi" ^_^

My computer is neither a female nor a male. Mine is just a jerk. Some days i'll start it up, try and run a program, and (I swear to god, if it could talk, this is what it would say) "Haha, I don't feel like working today. So go away." In which case, I have to.... teach it a lesson. I never liked electronics anyways, never worked the way its supposed to.

 

Mine definitely has the personality of a 6-year-old boy, give or take. Certainly a child, and certainly male. ::shrugs:: He just acts like all my young male cousins.

And if anyone cares, his name is Oni. I've got friends with computers named Puck and Zanza. ^_^

 

*grins* And I would be the owner of Puck, affectionately known as Demonspawn. He's possessed by a demon-type creature, but we've worked things out. Of course, it helps that he loves angst just as much as I do and that we have similar tastes....

Yes, it became quite interesting. It was two Decembers ago...I came home from college to see my Christmas gift from my family. She sat in the living room, and from the moment I touched her I've finally had a female in my life. I named her my Darling Deviliette, with her spirit envisioned as a sweet, red-haired nymphet, dressed in tight, smokey red clothes, and hovering in mid-air without having to flap her crimson, devilishly torn wings. On days when I want her company when I leave the room, I pack her into my backpack with her accessories. Since she's always turned on, she'll still be hot when I put her in my backpack. I can feel her charming weight and warmth upon my back. I don't know how to go on without her, my laptop.

my computer is named Hermy Hermaphrodite.

 

Despite the moniker of Zentran (Male in Zentraedi), mine is obviously a female. Fickle, given me trouble from the start, has a bad habit of either leaving or just acting hellaciously pissy when I need her the most.

 

mine is definitely a male i believe...for all the reasons listed inthe original post...plus its very masculine looking...not one of those cute little colored apples nope mines a good ol square hp grey and darker grey are the colors...and also i talk to my computer so when he's good to me i obviously shout yes!Yes!YES! heh interesting topic though...lovely

If I go by my computer's network name "Otome-Kairo" it would haveto be female. I always thought of it as male though.. which puts me firmly in the minority it seems. So far most of the women on the board have a male computer and the men have female computers. Funny how that works. Are we all desperate for companionship?
