I mean really now. Day was, you used to go in, ask for a visitor pass, and walk around for a while. Students went on their merry little ways, and everyone left you alone.

But now...students _must_ wear their ID's, you cant roam, you can only miss 15 days, and you need an appointment to visit. A ****ing appointment. I wasted 4 years of my life in that hellhole and now i cant even visit the people who made it tolerable.

What the hell happened to school?

Heh, fifteen days? Lucky. We get eight, then we lose credit for our courses. They claim students must wear IDs, but I lost mine freshman year (now a junior) and nothing's happened to me yet. Not sure if you need appointments in my school to visit people. o_O I'll never know, because I hate most everyone at my school. ^_^ Though I do have one word as to what happened to schools, which I think sums it all up perfectly...

Had uniforms, but beyond that, my high school student card was little much than a subpar collectible :p. Now my college is a little more controlled, but that's only in places where there's expensive equipment - which is understandable.

I'm a freshmen this year(YES!) and we don't have uniforms or student ideas. so basicly someone could walk in at anytime. I like high school so far. I only have some probs w/teachers. I have been in trouble w/PDA w/my bf(I really love him) and thats about it.

i really don't think uniforms would be that bad...saves you time figuring out what you're gooing to wear...and besides, a school isn't a a fashion show anyways...

only thing we ever had to worry about here, is the teachers getting the slutty girls pregnant...<Sigh> and well, the fireworks in the halls were pretty...

Uniforms *seem* bad, but once you get it through your head you save five minutes, you actually notice that you get to eat more! Actually, the middle school I came from had a uniform policy. The only real complaint I had of it was that some of the colors were really icky (so I stuck with black and white polo shirts) and the only way to get those icky colors was to buy them from the school. Just another way to make money, *tsk tsk*.

Our school board also said it was to promote unity among the students...and our school ended up having the most fights in its history that year (my school started uniforms in the eigth grade, my last year there).

Anyway, I got to eat a few more bites at breakfast, it's good enough for me. :D

And ID cards, your school must be pretty hi-tech or something because mine was a "get and forget" affair as well. :D

In my school we should wear dark green uniforms and neckties! They insist that we wear black shoes and not alot of accessories so that we would look tidy and nice ! <give me a break!> We have a new principle and he established his new "rules'' For example, if in the free period we want to go to the computer lab we first should ask the computer teacher to write us a note, show it to the teacher in the free period. Then she calls the computer teacher to check if the stupids have came to his/her class. -_- I believe that the new principle doesnt know the meaning of the word "trust" !

I remember when my middle school went to uniforms. They had a roumor going around that they were goint to use our shcool colors which were green and orange. Now that would have been a nightmare walking around lookin like a clown just barfed on you.

my high school uniform wasn't that bad.. and noone made fun of me if I wore the same pants 2 weeks or more in a row.. I thinkI'm stretching it in university. should switch to another pair of pants now :p

anyways, didnt use my student card at all. but here in UNi, I use my U one for exams, to get into computer labs, can even put money on it to buy food. oh.. here's the most important use of it.. in conjunction with my bus pass.. need a U id, eh?
