So this is how we're going to do it, we'll number each character and if you know something about the character that wasn’t been mentioned, state what it is
Here we go:

1. Tohru:
- Her mother died in an accident and she never knew her father, who also died when he was in an early age.
-She keeps a hat of a child that helped her when she was lost (ch 53) *who I guess is Yuki, but my friend tells me that’s it might be Manabe from Saki' saying: "Before... when I saw him give a speech on stage. In the past... somewhere with this person...... and that’s right... Together with Tohru..." In chapter 77*
2. Kyou:
- His mother killed herself, because she was too ashamed of son's existence.
-His father blames Kyou and says that "it" is the murderer of his wife. His father supports the idea of Kyo being locked away
- Kyou was taken care of by Kazuma
- It was told that his bracelet was made of human bones
- Akito told him that if he didnt beat Yuki before he graduates, he will be locked away ..
3. Yuki: (Ayame's younger brother)
- He was somewhat locked away when he used to live with Akito
- He is on bad relations with his mother
- Became the president of the Student council
4. Hatsuharu
- He was dumped by Rin, but he still loves her
- He asked Shigure if he would let Yuki live with him. Shigure agreed if Hatsu would keep refering to him as Sensei
- His first love is Yuki so thats why he cares for him
6. Momiji:
- His dream is to be a violinst, which his father doesnt realize after telling him to quit violin lessons because his sister is noticing him (If you didnt know this - Momiji's mother's memory have been erased because she couldnt handle the thought of her son being abnormal So the fact of Momiji being her son is hidden from her for her own sake.)
- He stood up to Akito, who wanted to meet Tohru. [chapter 64]
7. Hatori:
- His first love was Kana, but after the incident with Akito. He erased her memory and let her forget about him for her own good
8. Ayame [my 2nd favorite character tbh]
- He tries to apologize to Yuki for "abandoning him in the past", by doing stuff like giving Yuki crabs and peaches (his fav food when he was a child - chapter 47)
- He said "I have someone by my side", so Im guessing that he already Kuramae Mine are in a relationship or he cares for her... ^_^ (also in chatpter 47)
- He reports everything that happens between him and his sibling to Hatori .. lol
9. Rin
- She dumped Hatsu in order to protect him [but from what?]
- She was in a relationship with Shigure. She wanted to gain something from him, which is knowing if there is a way to break the curse
- She is very ill and she was in the hospital.
*I think that she went to ask Akito if there is a way to break the curse and this is why she was at the hospital*
*rumor says that she might be pregnant, but from whom?*
10. Hiro
- His clumsy mom is pregnant
- He absolutely adores Kisa
12. Kureno
- Akito's secretary
- For some reason, Akito wants to isolate him from the others
- On the day that Akito allowed him to go outside, he bumped into Uotani in the convenient store, where she works. He then met her again at her break time from her job.
- When Tohru struggled her way to meet him, he told her that he has no intentions of meeting with Uotani again, but I doubt that...
13. Shigure
- The man that I thought was as innocent as he locked in the beginning. He was planning something to break the curse, but he told Rin that he doesnt know how to. *Assumption: He isnt being truthful to her*
- He might be truely evil or wanting to help in a weird twisted way, for example:
>> Telling Akito about the summer house
>> The Mayuko and Hatori matching scene at the booksotre
>> Letting Yuki live with him after making a deal with Hatsu
- He was Mayuko's ex boyfriend. When they were in a relationship, he knew that she had a thing for Hatori at the time.
- He told Mayuko about Kana's memory being erased.. *I wonder what else he told her*
15. Akito
- He is god
- His goal is to lock up Kyo and have all the 12shi live in the Sohma resident
16.Kazuma
- He 'adopted' Kyo when his mother his mother killed herself.
- He said that he'll die to protect Kyo. *I consider this as foreshadowing*
- He cut his hair, because Kyou is now happy and found hope(=Tohru)
18. Uotani
- She decided to be a model.
(if you noticed, it all started when Kyo told Tohru that he could picture Uotani becoming a model, so Tohru told Uotani the same thing. So in the Job interview, Uotani was thinking of what Tohru told her)
- Her first love is Kureno.
19. Saki
- She knows that the Sohma boys love/like Tohru
- She "loves" Kazuma
20. Mayuko
- She's kana's best friend
- She liked Hatori, but she didn’t want to take him from Kana
- She went out with Shigure, even though she didn’t like him. She did it because she was lonely
- She is a teacher and also works at her dad's bookstore
21. Manabe
- He has a girlfriend *I wonder who she is?*
- He is interested in Tohru


I know I missed some stuff, so people you could fill in the rest =)

Since i'm a huge Rin fan i'd like to correct you.

Rin and Haru story is really sad and it's nothing like what the rumors says. I strongly suggest reading the manga for yourself or getting hold of the translations which you can find for the latest chapters over at this site.

all those rumors about Rin being a ho, pregnant by numerous guys is LIE LIE LIE grrrrrr *it's so irritating how people can go wild with stupid rumors*

Haru loves Rin and he was there for her when her parents abandon her as a kid (yeah even though haru was pretty young at the time he stood up for little rin and they became friend from there it blossomed into love. Haru asked her out and told her he loved her. She was afraid to return his feelings at first because she thought her love would harm him, twist him because she was told all her life that she was no good by both her parents and akito. And most important she was afraid of what akito would do to haru if he found out. HAru however won and got his way with Rin. They consumed their relationship (aka had sex) somehow word got around to akito that they were an item . Akito summoned Rin to verify this. He asked her if it was she or haru who initiated the relationship. Akito reminded her of what happened to Hatori (he lost his sight in one eye over kana) and told her if he gets mad and something happens to haru it'd be her fault. Rin took the blame and said it was her fault and of course akito went beserk and beat her just before pushing her out the window. The only person who witness the deed was hiro. I think that's why hiro cares so much for rin. He saw what akito did to her.

anyways, that's their story in a nutshell i'm sure there's more to be revealed like who tipped akito off about rin & haru and much more.

ohh i havent read chapters 78 and 79. Thanks for the link and the summary of what happened...

hmm maybe the rumor about Rin being pregnant might be untrue, but there is that possibility. She seemed that she was holding her stomatch, so I duno.. I guess we have to wait and see :dizzy2:
