Food What would you not eat?

I'm very open when it comes to food. I don't mind trying something, cause you don't know it could be good. if it's eaten by so many people then it can't be that bad right?

The one thign I won't eat though is insects. I've heard that they're okay but there's soemthing i don't think i could stomach about them.

And then rats and cats. I like cats too much to eat them (same with dogs) and rats....rats are plagued with diease. And lab rats are freakin' cute. Snakes too i suppose i can't eat.

I also won't ever eat again, cow tongue (those are flippin' huge!) and snails. cow tongue was gross and I didn't have a say in eating it. (My nanny was cooking with it. I had to try some. I was young too) and i have tried snails freely. It was gross tho. But i tried. Also, I really like snails and slugs. in fact, my snail just died the other day and we had to replace him. It's cool to watch them eat. ^^

and i've tried rabbit too. it tastes like chicken. Seriously. Would i eat it again? probably not since the opporunty won't pop up again.

I've tried dog biscuits as well! ^^ mmm, yummy.

 

Oh! I love cow tongue! my mom makes that alot! She puts it in alot of foods to put flavoring in it? weird but yeah. I will eat ANYTHING. as long as its edible and is able to be called "food". I love dog biscuits! ..... :sweat2: really they do taste good :shy3: i love food...food is good...have you ever had human?

 

I wouldn't eat dog meat or cat meat.

 

what about hot dogs or catsup? anyways, same as hyoga + human meat, ranch dressing, and poop.

 

O..k... I think I'm about to go vegetarian... I don't eat fast foods, b/c of achne prone skin I'm too overprotective of how much oil and fat is in the foods I eat, and I won't eat bugs, never.
Here in Aus. there is an aboriginal food called wichidy grubs (sp?).. yes, they're grubs, and I think sometimes they're eaten alive. I find that utterly disgusting.. *shudders*
I love most asian food but after trying Lychy (sp?.. again) at a Chinese resturant I will never try it again. It is soooo rich.. way too sweet. I never thought that was possible. Until I tried Lychy, and then again when I put too much sugar in my tea. :dizzy2: And umm, an I say I'm picky?? Here is a list:

Insects
Lychy
Fries (fast food, apparently they re-use the oil in the friers over and over...?)
Brustle Sprouts
Human (I suppose...damn, there goes my fun, hmph)
Did I say that out loud scratch that ^^;
Umm, seafood
Any organs belonging to something that formerly lived

I don't like Wasabi...
I cant think of anything else, I'll probably edit this when I think of more, if I remember to. PM and remind me if you can be bothered

Being a brave brave soul, I have tried many things.. many grosse and yugy things that I would never try again... but something I have never tried, and dont ever plan on trying is, bird nest stew.. where they climb a tree, pluck out the birdnest, toss it all in a pot with water to boil it, and then serve... NO WAY..

 

what is the name of that half-hatched-in-an-egg-duckling that is served in some asian regions...

Its considered an aphrodisiac. Man... I just saw it on Travel channel the other day. Its pretty much a duck egg, and when it reaches about 75% ready to hatch, you eat it. You feel the beak, feathers, cartilage, limbs and its slimy, smelly, and *barf*... gomenazai...

 

ewwww the 2 posts previous to mine have some stuff i realy dont want to eat!!!one time i was in poland and i had this food, but i didnt know what was inside, after i ate it my mom told me that it was made of pig intestines, i almost threw up. it tasted ok, but the thought of what was inside me made me sick. i would never eat brussel sprouts,tripe,and previosly digested things
testicles,*ewwww* or worms bleh, well i could go on for days, but those are the tops.

 

Ah! in PR pig tripe/intest*.*, pig feat and ears are a comun side dish treat during christmas celebrations... its made in like a soup type of fricasé It really stinks like fecal mater when its cooking but after its all done its quite tasty if done right. . It is most comunly known as "Quajito"

 

i looooooove cow tongue too!!! but no one makes it for me so we usually go to like gutaku or some were with yakiniku...

anyway, the food i will never eat again is whale, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower. ugh... the whale made me throw up so much. yuck. *shivers* but my dad told me to never eat the deers meat when it's raw. said it tasted terrible... oh! i also don't like unagi very much... to many small bones...

and bugs taste pretty good!
