    St. Lucia and the Grenades.

Actually it's the name of a nation in the Birtish Commonwelath of Nations (but it's not Grenades, it's soemthing that is spelt similar...). me and my friend had to do the commonwealth for a project, and when i saw that name I wa slike "man that'd make a great band name."

Don't know if you can use it though, I think some of my friends are gonna use it but I doubt it.

Maybe you can get some inspiration from one of these:
    http://www.elsewhere.org/cgi-bin/bandname
    http://www.bandnamemaker.com/sbf/docs/

Depends on the band's own feel, naturally. Usually a single symbolic word or a few random ones linked together work out well.

Hehe, generators can be fun. Some of my favorites I just browsed through now:
    Innocent Monitor
    Permanent Much
    Sexy Dedication
    Pleasure Front

Me and my friends made one up, but I'm not sure if we're gonna use it.
It's Shaboomgab. We kind of got the idea from Hoobastank.
We might use it, I don't know.

A good band name should be catchy, and people should relate the bands type of music into the name.

My friends band, who's on the erge of getting a record deal, is called Smoked Lips. They play 70's rock mixed with Punk.

    Bah, there's already a Flaming Lips. :p

Blinknot. Or Slip 182. Or try play on words and such. Example; my friend, Derek, used to have a band called "Lincoln The Chain" (figure it out).

Or, you could take the absurdity/random angle. My brother's band was "ESM" (Electrolite **** Machine).

Or get in to the "The (blank)" names. I still think "The 1337ers" would be an awesome name for a band, though.

Or be witty. Make your band name "Insert Name Here".

Or how about The Swirly-Eyed Samurais? Yeah, I know I got that from some Kenshin site, somewhere, anyways...

Go for The 1337ers. I guarantee it, you'll be a hit. Or a one hit wonder... or you'll just plain ole' GET hit. Either or.
