Recreation Whats a vCard?

    An option just poped up on one of my friends profiles that says Download vCard. So i was wondoring what is a vCard?

    it sort of explains it in your user control. the v-card lets ppl download info on you, like your e-mail address etc. (if the user has allowed it in their control panel options.)

    It's a text file that contains your contact info. It could contain your:
    name
    address
    email address
    phone number(s)

    Programs like Outlook can import them for use in their address books

    The only thing a vCard contains is your username and email address.

    That might be true of some vCards (like the profile ones) but in a wider sense they could contain the info I mentioned (it's in the vCard spec):
