Inu-Yasha What's the deal with Shippo??

I just don't get Shippo's role in the show. I mean, he WAS helpful in the beginning, but now all he does is cowar behind Kagome whenever there's a battle. Why doesn't he use his tricks anymore? Why did he turn to jelly inside?

 

Remenber...he's still a kid...and he's afraid of battel...! But I think that Shippou's role in the serie is probaly make the show more funny...!^_^

 

He's the Obligatory Loudmouth Child who happens to double as Obligatory Cute Thing (with Kirara). He also sticks around because he has nowhere else to go.
