Recreation Whats your Fav. Fairy Tale?

Mine would be the frog prince and Hansel and Gretel...
I love those two stories soo much.

The little mermaid, Disney messed it up though. It's the saddest/sweetest story.

I'm not sure if this counts but the story the little match girl. It's so sad.

 

Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella...

wolf_of_mibu will die laughing when he sees this...but it's true...I love these fairytales very much...

 

Ahh, the wonderful world of fairy tales. I was raised on the things and I still love them dearly. It's so hard to pick a favorite, really it is.

Still, if I had to pick one or two that I loved more than the others....Blue Crest Crispin (a French fairy tale), Green Snake, and Tam Lin are probably my absolute favorites.

Strange that they all have similar themes, and aren't generally as well-known as some other fairy tales.

Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast. And I'm not sure if it counts, but Robin Hood is also one of my faves.

But, of course, not just the Disney versions. ^_^ (Though I loved Disney's Robin Hood -- the songs...>D I love those songs! ^^)

 

Little Red Riding Hood, and I don't meant the pussy *** one they tell to kids these days, the real one. If you've seen Jin Roh, you'll know what I'm talking about. The version where Red grows up alone, and is not allowed to see her mother until she wears out her clothes, so she scrapes herself against the wall. And when she gets to her mother's house, and she says she's hungry, the wolf tells her to eat the meat and drink the wine in th cuboard, not knowing of course that it was her mother's flesh and blood. No woodcutter in this tale either.

 

It has to be Beauty and the Beast .. What I like about it is that Bell loved the 'Beast' for who he is and not how he looks. ::sniff:: I want to see it again

i dunno what my fav fairy tale would be... i dont remember being really big into them i mean sure i heard em in preschool and such but dont have wa favorite really... *shrugs* well... i take that back the fractured fairy tales by aj jacobs are funny

 

oh hey i don't know if this a fairy tale but i really like the disney version of robin hood it was awsome. if it is then its my fave.

The Little mermaid. The coat for many colors and the dancing shoes. The last two were from nick ad a show called Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics. I loooooooooooved that show when I was a kid.
