    that quote actually reads: The sword is a weapon. Kenjutsu is the art of killing! nothing you can say will change this.

    the extension on that quote is: What Miss Kaoru believes are the words of one who has never dirtied her hands. an Idealistic joke...

    I've also seen it translated as "Anyone can let themselves be killed, but it takes courage to live."

    Kinda goes with, "Living takes more courage than suicide." Not an RK quote, but hey.

    well thats not what De Gozaru means...thats just what they used in the american version to fill the rest of his speech so it wont look like those 50's Godzilla movies...De gozaru in itself means the same as Desu
