I picked up the recent Disney releases (and re-releases) of Spirited Away, Tower in the Sky, and Kiki's Delivery Service not too long ago.

Class films. No wonder Studio Ghibli has such a following. I've yet to see Mononoke or Nausicaa (I know, criminal), so my choice would be between those three.

Each had its unique touch to it, Kiki being a very light and innocent film, Spirited Away reminding me of an Alice in Wonderland/Neverending Story crossbreed, and Tower in the Sky with the classic floating fortress manned by robots.

I just can't decide, so my vote will be null for now.

Mine is Mimi Wo Sumeseba. It hasn't been released here, and I really don't think it will be. I doubt it would appeal to western audiences. I also like Grave of the Fireflies, Spirited Away, and Tonari no Totoro is just plain class. I've seen pretty much all of the films, and the only one I'd describe as anything less than excellent would be Pom Poko. Just a little bit too wierd.

Mononoke Hime was the first of Miyazaki's films I have seen. I thought it was a great movie and it DID sit me down for about 2 hours. I love that movie and watch it every chance it comes on T.V. (just like X!!)
I've also seen Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirited Away. I really want to see the others!!

i'd have to say Princess Mononoke. however the only other miyasaki film i've seen or at least remember( i think I saw one about dust bunnies when i was little) is Spirited away and i didn't like it as much as Princess mononoke.

i really liked Spirited Away and Kiki's Delivery Service. Spirited Away had better graphics [or whatever you call it], but i think that Kiki's Delivery Service had better music.
