I'd have to pick the Euthyphro personally, why, because it was the first one I ever read (I've noticed that if one starts on something like the Republic or the Symposium then they end up hating Plato). If you like the Republic please state which book was your favorite. If needs be, I'll provide a list of all the dialogues, that is, once I can find my books. :glazed:

So far I've read the Republic and I'm working on The Apology, although I would say that's a strange order to read them in.. What order did you read all of them in? The part of the Republic that stuck out the most for me was the Allegory of the Cave because it helps us to look beyond the physical world to find the truth(the Good). I think that was in book 6 or something..

Here's a list of all the dialogues:

edit: Actually, I'm going to leave the Apology and Euthyphro for the end actually, right now I'm about half way through Charmides. It's neat to find out what temperance truly is, they talked about it quite a bit in The Republic also to determine what a just person and state is.

I also found the dialogues and other works of Plato online for those who want to read them. But, I'm not sure how accurate the translations are.. nothing beats the originals(which I can't exactly read XD).
