Cowboy Bebop When is it coming out?

When is the movie being released on DVD? It came around here (it was playing at Harvard of all places. They have an art film thearter) but try as hard as I could I still missed it. Oddly enough my film teacher saw it and I have no idea why. He never heard of the show and he hates anime. He does love cowboys though. When he heard I loved the show he told me he'll never watch it. Was it that bad??
I honestly don't actually know anything about the film, including the plot, mostly because I don't want any spoilers.

Well if someone that didnt watch the show and hates anime, I would hear the same response from him/her. Why would you listen to a person that doesnt know anything about Cowboy Bebops and hates cowboys -__- .
The movie is great, hun. Go watch it and decide on your own if it was good or disappointing. Dont let other's opinions cloud your judgement on this piece of art...
