I have never seen and episode of Inu-Yasha. I have wanted to for a long time though. Someone please tell me where I can buy copies of some episodes. Preferably in Florida. Thank you so much.

Hmm, well while I don't reside in Florida, I can relay to you that your best bet would probably be at a local video store (Suncoast, for instance?) Best Buy also probably has a few editions, and even department stores as commonly placed as Target are liable to carry a few. Inuyasha isn't an incredibly difficult series to get ahold of (due to its increasing popularity), and if you happen to possess the cartoon network channel then you have the opportunity to watch it there on Adult Swim (see www.adultswim.com for local scheduling). However, these are only the dubbed episodes. If you're looking for subbed Inuyasha, you've got one of three options.

    1. E-bay, though I'd be wary of bootlegs

    2. try to find some rare store with the Japanese DVDs (Simply Kids, though I don't know if it's a national franchise, is the "go to" store for anime DVDs around here)

    3. I've heard rumors that the dubbed DVDs have the subtitled option, in which case you can just follow the above instructions (I only own a couple DVDs, and I watch dubbed Inuyasha anyhow so I never bothered to figure out whether or not those rumors are true. I'll try to clarify this when I rewatch a few of the DVDs (possibly later this evening).

I don't know about Florida, (by the way, kokunaru, are you OK down there with all the storms?) but Future Shop here in Canada has "Season 1" dvd's for $83 CAN. So, even if something like Amzon doesn't have them, you could order it through the Future shop website. I think they ship internationally. Here's the address: www.futureshop.ca

Well, u can order them from Tower records or HMV or even AMAZON.com IF there is a ChinaTown in your area, check out their anime stores. There are even a few online stores u can order from. http://www.sakuramedia.com is quite good. They are based from Vancouver Canada. Their prices and shipping are more than reasonable

Okay, we've got a lot of suggestions here, but I think I'll add in my two cents worth. Kagome's Arrow mentioned the need to be wary of bootlegs when getting stuff from e-Bay. I actually extend that warning to several other online vendors; not all places are entirely honest when it comes to legitimate releases. Bootlegs are cheaper, but they aren't worth it.

If you want an actual store to go to, I would suggest checking for your local Suncoast. They generally have a pretty good selection and the prices are decent, especially if you have a Replay card (I don't, so I go to other places for my anime). The only down side is that they may or may not have the volume(s) you want in stock. Upside, you don't have to pay shipping & handling. You just have to pay sales tax.

For trustworthy online vendors....The Anime Corner Store is the place I generally frequent. Prices are lower than a lot of places, and they ship pretty quickly. Shipping prices are also decent. Other places you might want to check out are Right Stuf (good prices with discounts and pre-release deals, but otherwise about average), Anime Nation (haven't really much cared for their prices or the time it takes for them to ship), and Planet Anime. There are others, but these are ones that I know are trustworthy.

I hope you can find the DVDs to fuel your love of Inuyasha!
