Well, the question is, are you looking for the X manga in Japanese, or are you looking for translated volumes? If you want the original Japanese, I would suggest going to Anime Gamers to get it. They have some of the best import manga prices in the US that I've seen.

If you're looking for translated manga, there's always Barnes & Noble online, or Amazon.com. Both of them should have it available to order. Other than that I don't have anything to really offer in the way of help.

*shudders* Animenation....overpriced selection and insanely slow shipping/communication. I try to avoid them whenever possible. The Viz Shop-by-Mail catalog would probably be good though.

*wry grin* Of course, I try to avoid Viz whenever possible because they have a consistant history of messing up releases and licensing insanely long series then releasing them 2-3 episodes per DVD....

Well, shonen, I'd go to the library if they actually had the stuff I wanted. I have yet to see a library that has the series I'm interested in. Actually, I have yet to see a library that has translated manga. My school's library (university) apparently has a bunch of Sazae-san manga, but I haven't been able to find it.

Ordeing online would be best, you could also order form a book store. As for X it like Shadowbard said it depends on which verson you speak of. You can order both versons online.

    List of book sotres:

    Hastings
    Barnes & Nobel
    Suncoast
    Sam goody
    Waldens

I'm quite sure all of these have online stores.
There are also some stores that sell raw japense manga can't think of the name of them right now maybe someone else can tell you.
