Full Metal Alchemist Which do you prefer?

    Hey guys, what's up? I was thinking, after watching FMA last night (today), I really listened to the theme song. So then I got the idea to start this thread. So my question is this: Did you like the Original theme song or the New theme song?

    I've always really loved Porno Graffii's Mellissa, from the first moment I heard it. It's rare for me to watch and listen through an anime theme song without skipping ahead. I just listened to the second theme once and then skipped ahead for it. I'm not saying it's not a bad one, just not Melissa caliber for me. I also made Melissa my ringtone.

    Nice, I should make that my ringtone! I liked the original theme song way better than this newer one, but I like the newer one too.

    Hm... I would have to say the older one, but the newer one isn't bad. Just the older one has that something to it. ( I know I don't make enough sense most of the time.)

    Yeah, the newer one isn't as good as the old one, but it isn't bad.

    They're not actually new/old songs. It's just that Adult Swim (for some reason) felt like making "Ready Steady Go!" the main theme for FullMetal Alchemist, when there's actually for different intros. Out of all of them, Ready Steady go is my favourite, but UNDO is a great one too.

    I just loved the original theme though, there was something about it. Who is the singer of the new theme, I wanna look her (?) up on Google to see if I can find more of her songs.

    Really?? I didn't know it was by them, or maybe I forgot that :p

    Well, since my favorite japanese rock band is L'Arc~en~Ciel, I loved "Ready, Steady, Go!!". I even bought the album "Smile" when I went to Malaysia just for this song. But it appears there are more butt kicking songs as well in that album! ^^

    In my opinion, the opening themes were average. But L'arc En Ciel's Ready Steady Go was catchy, so I'll make that my favourite.

    My favourite song of the series actually was Yellow Generation's Tobira no Mukou (Second ending theme), for me this was an amazing song... just my type.

    I like "Ready, Steady, Go" the best of the three I've heard. The others didn't spark my attention at all.

    "Ready Steady GO!" is really nice.. I really like it. OOH but have you listened to the first Ending theme all the way through? It is actually really catchy.. I prefer it to any of the openers. "Kesenai Tsumi" I believe it's called?

    I liked very much Ready, Steady, Go! too (very catchy :D) Next to it would be Riraito by Asian Kung-fu Generation ^^
