Movies Which is sadder when they die in movies?

I was wondering what is sadder for you. Humans or animals dying in movies. Both maybe even or you do not care?
For me animals. They can go ahead and kill off the main character but when good old faithful old yeller dies. I cannot watch anymore.

 

I think that if any living thing were to die whether it be human or animal especially in movies is sooooooooo sad ...

I think both cause I don't like sad part sometimes and sometimes I do cause it helps other pains go away. But I don't care who it is, I'll cry when someone dies, whether human, animal, butterfly, bug, etc. I'm weird like that

it depends how the animal dies, if its like the horse in the boat scene of THE RING then its funny as hell. But if its like a dog getting put down then its really sad.

now for ppl its the same thing if some1 dies say...of cancer than its kinda sad but if they die from say.....fallin off a buildin and landin on their heads its really funny.

There is another thing that i should of added when villians die or animal villians like in Resident Evil. When they die I don't cry even if it was an animal. I am a big softie when animals die.

Well I dont often cry in movies over anything, and I wont waste my tears over a villain animal !!

I would cry on humans, but never on animals except for that ant in Honey I shrunk the kids lol

 

It all depends on how they died and what was said. Words will break me down, seeing the tears and if what they have to say is extremely sad...i might cry. But I can't choose between humans and animals.

Both for me. When an animal dies I'm like- "Changing the channel right now!" Just because I love animals and it's so sad...

But when a human dies it gives the movie drama and it's also really sad...

i think its really sad when humans die...animals is a whole different story. in my english class we watched a movie and a dog died...i couldnt keep a straight face and i started to laugh. i felt bad..my friends were balling their eyes out and i was laughing really hard. but when the people die...i am just like "THAT WASNT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN! WHY DID HE DIE!?!" type a thing.

 

I believe this little equastion(Sp... no ****) should explain my thoughts upon it;

Angel from hell = sad movie scene when something dies = Angel from hell laughs

 

I can't choose...I guess it all depends upon what happens in the movie before that something dies...I dunno I think it makes me sad whether its a human or an animal

 

ok so maybe I weep a tiny bit when an animal dies but what can I say I like the animals better then humans because it seems strange but they show more emotion then a human does

ditto that it all depends on how the plot leads up to that character dying... it could be a intense plotline with a brick that dies and i would bawl ya know? so yeah it all depends on the plot and the kind of connection the audience is allowed to make with the character

 

Human life has been so trivialized it is sickening.

Remeber in Independence Day; everyone is relieved when the dog escapes from the fire in the tunnel. Who cares about all the people.

The most surprising thing in O Brother Where art Thou was seeing the cow get lasted by the tommy gun. You just never see animals eating it.

anyway, Old Yeller was sad because it was something you could see actually happening in real life and you knew how it affected the kid. A similarly constructed story with a grandpa dying instead would have been just as sad imho

 

I cry in both. I cried in the beginning of finding nemo when coral died.. but i also cried alot in life is beautiful when the dad died
