    Lime is my fave cyborg/android/marionette type character in any anime. She's funny and really powerful and can life buildings above her head and throw them at cars ;) As well she is programmed with female emotions and is very close to Human.

    Guyver is a close second too...

    Well, Sylia isn't really an android. Spoiler below if you want to see why I think so.

    So, my favorite android would be....Chii!!! Hehe, she's just so adorable.

    She is the basis from which they are made, because the boomers/voomers in BGC2040 are made "semi-sentient" through her brain-waves. Which incidentally was founded by her father and was tried on her MOTHER, who was killed, and Sylia was the next in line...the damned jerk.

    In any case, from that experiment spawned Galatea and Mackey Stingray. The villain and Sylia's little big bro, respectively. I guess THEY would be the real androids.

    Well, I guess you can call the Knight Sabers androids in the last few episodes, since they have direct control over their suits at that time. But, that would make them more cyborg, right?

    Alita from Battle Angel Alita.(thats one of my favorite manga series.)She is a really interesting character.

    (I havent seen the anime of it yet.I hope to soon...:sweat: )

    Motoko from Ghost in the shell is the most coolest of all andriods/cyborgs. She is much cooleer in the series. I like how she is calm most of the time. She has everything under control even and she never panics !!! Motoko is the best!!!! :)

    Motoko Kusanagi is the girl from the manga/movie. She changes her family name for some reason though.

    well, as far as the limited amout of andriods go, you must remeber that i have seen a small amout of actual anime, not the canned CN stuff. but now that i have a job, as soon as i get a new vcr & a dvd player, i'll be buying a dvd per paycheck.
