Video Games which system should I get next?

I already have a Playstation 2 and a good PC, might need to get a better graphics card though. I was wondering which system should I buy next, the XBox or the Gamecube?

Let me tell you what kind of games I like and see if you can help me on this. I am mostly a RPG and action/adventure fan of games, but I pretty much like all genres. Except first person anyting, I despise Halo, not my kind of game. There are some first person games I will play, but not Halo. I like a good story in a game, that is what I mostly look for. After that I look at game play. Graphics would come next, but do not bother me that much.

I have looked at a direct comparsion of Splinter Cell for PS2 and for Xbox and I kind of want to play that game on the XBox. I am also a WWE (wrestling) fan and the next WWE game; Raw 2, for the XBox is supposed to be an off the charts WWE game. But I also want to play Skies of Arcadia Legends for the GC. Other games I would like to own for the GC are Resident Evil 0 and 1, Smash Bros. Melee, maybe the new zelda (little skeptical on the cartoon look), and Eternal Darkness.

So which one do you think I should get next?

 

Gamecube has Wrestling games too.

 

Gamecube. I believe it to be better. Much better. Besides, I would not have somone buying a microsoft product when there's an alternative.

 

No actually it has one wrestling game...well one WWE game and that is WrestleMania X8. Raw 2 for the Xbox is supposed to have everything from previous wrestling games like being able to defend titles in exhibition and multi-player story mode. You are supposed to be able to crete your own entrance. With any music track that is on the xbox hard drive and even crete your own titantron video by saving clips of stuff you do in the ring.

 

Don't worry about X-Box, it might have a couple of good titles, but half of them you can get for the PC. The gamecube has those non-violent, one-of-a-kind titles that are really enjoyable. Besides, who can go wrong with all those old school characters.

 

I Personally think you should get a GameCube. Much better Games, trust me...It is smaller

 

Well I think that the xbox is better because It's what i want but then again everyone else likes the gamecube.

 

Gamecube provides a different dimension to PC games. XBox seems to bring up computer platforms over and over again... Halo and racing games?

 

I would get the Xbox if I were buying another system. I have played games on both GC and Xbox, I just prefer the Box if I where getting a second unit.

Their sports games are awesome.

 

Ahh well I do not follow sports that much, maybe a little basketball. And so I do not play many sports games either. I also watch WWE, but I guess that is sports enterainment.
It looks all in all I should get a GameCube, but still have not completely decided yet. Keep those votes and posts coming. Oh and remember the question on the poll is which system should I (ME) get? It does not ask which system would YOU (not me) would get.

 

u should get a gamecube, alot mor good games the the box, atleast thats what i think. zelda, metriod, pso, resident evils(new ones not remake), and much more, the box has halo, which i think sucked, wasnt a very good game

 

You cannot forget that the gc has Phantasy Star, oh and I have heard that there will be at least two Zelda games (1 cg and 1 cartoon) any truth to this rumour would be appreciated!

 

The only thing about the GameCue Zelda that I know about is that if you reserve the new Zelda for the GameCube than you also get a remake of Ocarina of Time which is also for GameCube.

 

gc has so many good games, xbox sucks

 

X-Box is a very good system. However, I own a GameCube, and have over 20 games for it, Nintendo is awesome.

As far as wrestling, they have X8, Legends 1&2, soon Def Jam, and this fall X9...which is suppose to be great.

Right now you can get a Cube for 150 dollars, plus a free game. (Metriod, Star Fox, Party, or RE0.) And certinaly you want one of those games.

 

i have them both i like the Xbox better for graphics but for games the Gamecube has better ones so for me i say get the Gamecube

 

If you don't like Zelda, you could always play FFC.

well game cube has really cool games out there for the time being but you never know xbow might trun out to be better it just depends on what kind of person you are and what kinda of games you play.:shy3:

 

Today is my birthday and I have decided to get myself a GameCube and not the Xbox. It was a very hard decision, but the only reason I wanted an Xbox is cus of the DVD player and all the other things it can do besides play games. The GameCube has more games that I want to play, so that is the one I chose.

I still plan on getting an Xbox before September or whenever the release date is for WWE Raw 2: Ruthless Aggression. I heard it got pulled back to September from April cus they want to add online capabilities. That would be so damn sweet to have an online WWE game. I would never leave the house.

Also I am getting the GameCube that comes with Starfox Adventures. I hope Starfox is a good game. Now I just have to decide what other games to get for it. Other games I want are Skies of Arcadia, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Eternal Darkness, can't think of anymore right now.

What do you all think my next game should be for the GameCube?
