    The whistling part makes me think of the Chocobo forests in FF8, but
    a) They've got nothing to do with learning, and
    b) everyone seems to hate FF8 so no one asks questions about it.

    But I'll say

    Namingway? In FFIV, snes, he's half rabbit so that'd make him cute, I guess and he hangs in the learning hall things. Don't know about the whistle though.

    yes, well, when you get to the moon, there's a cave to the east of bahamuts cave. the cave is the origin of the namingways. *^-^* called thus because he was good at coming up with names.
