Recreation Who do you take after?

I have noticed (and others have too) many people friends or strangers take after members of their family. Some look like clones. We all know about genes and stuff. I really don't want to get into that. I was wondering who you guys take after.

I look a lot like my dad. We have the same dark completion, tanned skin compared to my mom. I have two older sisters then there is me and my little brother. The oldest looks most like my dad. The next sister takes after my mom and my little brother does too. It is a little weird dad, mom, dad, mom as far as looks go. Or birthdays even match. The oldest and I are in June with 3 days apart. Her birthday even comes first in the month. The second oldest and my brother are in April and three days apart.

I also have my dad’s personality. We both are lad back. He is way kinder then me though. After one in my family holds stuff in we are not big on sharing but I think that is just how we are raised.

All of my siblings and me have brown hair which I am told we get from my grandma on my dad’s side. We all have hazel eyes which have a different color in it.

So what about you all?

 

I don't think i take after anyone. I don't see myself acting like anyone in my family, nor do they think i take after anyone. Personality wise of course.

Appearance wise, i do look a bit like my father. Other than that, that's it.

uhm..i takes after....no ones. Phooey! I feel from another family. Ive just got little of my father's looks and semi-to-nothing of my mother.
I guess its either I dont look like them, or i just change my appearance to not do so.

lots of people say that i look, and sound like my mom.... [EW!] and that i also KINDA look like my dad.... and i have both my dads, and moms personality...

dad: really funny, kind, weird, laid back, an idiot.
mom: kind, weird, 'funny' [she makes all these sick, sexual jokes and stuff... but it's really funny, because she's from japan, and for some reason, in all her 17 years of living here, she REALLY sucks at english... but anyway, she tries to say the things in english, and it's just pathetic. seriously.], noisy, nosey, and uh, acts like an idiot.

wow. both my parents are idots... O_O heh, but i still love um. *hugs parents.*

 

My mother and my grandmother. I resemble my mother a little bit, and I have a few traits from her. I also have my grandmother's "tough love," and brashness, I think.

 

Me? I take a lot from my dad. My Hazel eyes. And I have black running through some of my hair, nose, mouth, everything except well you know.
My mom i do not take after AT ALL! And I take pleasure in that

 

I take after...well..i take after My dad and my mom..yet i have some things that make me serpate.. My eyes blue eyes from my dad. My hair from my mom..red tint...bleh..but im more brownish red now so yay. My hieght..my dad . And everything else is made by random parts of other complete strangers mwhahahaa

 

Dads familys hair, moms nose...erm, probably personality is moms. And the height? Well, My moms family indeed. My two uncles and aunt are huge o0

I have something from my whole family.. But the way I look comes from my dad, tiny, thin skin, small feet, tiny hands, big black eye lashes, curly hair and heads are kinda round. lol though he is bold and I am not.. luckily
My personality is a combination of both, impatient, funny, warm, generous and stuff like that. I have my way of helping people, social stuff and feeling people, how they feel or act etc, from my mom.. kinda like that.

My personality is that of my dads. My apperance is that of my moms. I sound like my dad on the phone and lok like im 18.

 

I take after all my family in a way. I get a lot of it from my father. Some from my mother and some from my grandparents. I suppose I take after my dad the most.

 

I take more from my mom. And her side of the family I suppose. I definately have my mom's thick, bushy and wavey hair. o_x And I'm the same build as my mom's side of the family. Tall and gangly. I mostly look like my mom and her family. I think I have my dad's nose though. heh.

And I found out not to long ago that I creepily resemble a great uncle of mine when he was 17, from my mom's side. I dono. I thought it was kinda scary. Cuz it was like...me. o_o;

 

i don't really take after anybody....i don't think i do. i have soken up thing from my sis.

 

My father. Heh, when I answer the phone I am usually thought to be him, because of my deep voice. Not so much with my mom though, never really thought about any of this.

 

my dad and my grandmother. i don't look like my mom, except for skin tone.

 

I take after my Mom and Dad. I take after my Dad because I love everything technical, and after my Mom because of my love for everything art-like, such as drawing and painting.

 

I think its 50-50 here. When people see me they cant decide who i look more like, my dad or my mom. Ok, im taller than my mom but not as tall as my dad. My dads hair are light blonde and my moms are brown, and my hair are dark blonde, which is not as light as dads, but not as dark as mums . The eye shape is deffinitely dads but the coulour(green) comes from mum...etc... However, personality wise...my dad says that im as stubborn, lazy and complainy as my mom; and my mom says that im as calculating, dominating and cold as my dad :sad: . So, looks like i inherited the "best" of both...

 

I take after my dad, in every way possible.

Looks, personality, the way we walk, the way we sit, the way we talk, we never argue, since we think alike..... It's scares me at times.

 

My personality is like no one elses in my family.. I am the odd child who like I donna.. but like.. Easter and watching Video Tapes on me with an Egg in my mouth saying I have Easteridis is well... me, well like 4 years ago. My mom says she has no clue who's feet I have lol... I know sounds like I have a desformality, but my friends say I have perfect feet, and my Cousin Andrea is like The bottoms are so White! lol.. yeah..

My mom says that I hold my silverwear like my grandma Speight did. Which I guess is kinnda wierd when I look how I hold it and others around me do.

In looks... kinnda like my mom and dad.. but my cousin Brittany and me could pass as twins.. and we have. lol She is my dads half sister, so it is wierd that we look so much alike, with my dad having a differnt father than his sisters.. but hey! More wierdness for my family. ( kinnda off subject... my grandma Lila ( dads mom) had 4 kids with 4 differnt men, but she "was" married to them all at one time..
