I finally got some a few months ago. the monthly disposable. All I get are problems. Once I scratched up my eye because at the last second me putting them in, I got long cat hair stuck in my eye with the contact.. its not the first time. I'm thinking cats and contacts don't seem to mix.
This morning I throw out my right contact and take a clean new one out, and right away it feels like there's crap in my eye. Sometimes the contacts are nice and I can hardly feel them, but that's very rare. Most of the time it feels like there's crap in them and no matter how much I clean them and make sure there is nothing on them before putting them in, it doesn't matter.

well, that's my eye contact story.

I got grey ones this year. They feel funny at first, but after a while they feel natural. (Though sometimes I'll feel like I'm being poked with something sharp. x_x) I used to feel taller when I wore contacts, but recently, not so much. ^_^;;; I've noticed that when I take them off and put on my glasses, I have to get used to turning my head to look at things, and I get dizzy. XD

But honestly, contacts were too much work to wear every day (I'd wake up before 6am for school and would be Teh Sleepy). My eyes tend to be sensitive, so I'd have to wait for a few minutes before they felt normal. Too much work~~ ^_^; I'm not getting any this year. (They're fun, though~!)

I only got mine about a month ago as well. Everybody thought that i would lok weird without my glasses cause i was always wearing them when they saw me. But now anytime somebody see's me they think that i look a lot better without my glasses.
It seems to take a long time to get use to them, i'm still getting used to mine, but once you get over that feeling that your eyeball is incredably ichy, you don't feel as bad. But i find that if you leave them in for to long your eye's get really tired, and the optition also said that it's unhealthy to leave them in for any more then ten hours.
The biggest problem was getting the little basterds in to sktay on your eye, the first day itr took me nearly an hour and i felt like throuwing the things out. But i figured out a better way of putting them in then what the optition said.
But i'm happy with thenm none the less, i was getting sick to death of glasses, and i'm also the first person in my family in 13 years that's able to wear a good pair of shades :anime: .

I first got my contacts from like....i forget. at tops, two years ago i guess. I never really wore glasses before, only when i needed to see the board in the class room. i was tired of breaking them and having to go get them repaired. So i just got contacts. at first it was alright, but then there was this period of time where when i put my contacts in, it felt like my eyes were stinging. then both of my eyes would get all red, and the only thing my friends could say to me was, "You're high!" and i have a confession to make, i've never been high...but for some people, they won't believe that now...stupid people. I also wanted to get different color contacts...but for some reason the eye doctor said there wasn't any out for my "type" of eyes...poo. But anyway, after a year i got used to them so i'm good with contacts now....even though it gets annoying having to take them in and out of your eyes everyday:(

I have several pairs of them, mostly because i loose them and then I find them about 3 days later. I have purple, blue, green, red, honey, and checkers, and black. I love to wear them, but it is really hard to take care of them, especially squishing them to hard, or by looding them (thusfore colours, I can actually find them then. XD) I also have some of those night and day things that you can wear for a month, which are great because im laaaaazy beyond belief and sometimes im so out of it that i dont even put them in, and I dont notice it till I attempt to read. That makes me feel smart...

hmm well I'm new to contacts.. I have monthly ones, but after a week's wear I went back to the doc's to find out the left contact had several cracks in it. He said 'maybe you bent it too much' ??? if they are liquid acuvue.. that shouldn't happen? so I dont know if its because that one contact was lost sticking to a listerine bottle for 5 minutes.. but. then. if a contact can get cracks from drying up. I dont understand how you can find a contact after 3 days and it being ok, cb? and I thought contacts were expensive LOL. I better stop spending money on computer upgrades, dvds and clothes.. :p

I have contacts as well. I have Acuview (sp?) Hydroclear Advanced (mouthfull huh?XD) They are soft contacts and weeklyl disposible. And I can wear them to sleep. I went to bed once with them on and they were fine in the morning. I do admitt they are a hassel. But i prefer contacts over glasses. (I alwyas find myself staring at the rim of the glasses when i wear them)

Yeah, Ser, ussually the contacts crack when they get dried out and tare when handled roughly. And i agree contacts are expensive, I think I spent $400 on contacts and a appointment at the eye Doctor's. Its crazy. But ussually if you get good insurence, they pay for most of the fee.

Everyday I like to put my colour contacts into the little box b/c I always think I am very paranoid about my lil deformed colour babies! And as always I LOOSE everything in the mess I call my room, but eventually I find them by either stepping on the case or when my dog finds it as a chew toy. hehe.

I got my contacts for cheap since we bought them as a package deal and they were all nice at the store, so basically we bought the 5 and we got the 2 extra free, so I ended up spending around 200 dollars are so (US equivalent)
    ah I feel so cheap!
