Anime Who has seen Macross Zero.

Macross Zero is in my opion the best Macross saga yet. the graphics are incredible even better than Macross Plus. this is a must see for all mecha fans. but since it was only made in 2003 it will be pretty hard to find.

Well story speaking SDF-Macross is far better than it, but of course the animation / action scenes are very superior in Macross Zero.

 

I've seen the first two eps and it looks and feels special. Though I personally prefer the Gundam series and is the only mecha anime I've ever seen, Macross may well be my new taste in mecha animation.

First off, I must finish Gundam Seed. (too good)

 

If i remember right, it was at the end of the first ep, when he's stuck on that island, it shows that battle with the "plane"(sorry, i'm not a big macross fan) transforming, dodging all the missiles, man.....that was amazing...it was like....dbz fighting, expect mecha style...

 

I've watched the 1st two episodes and I was amazed by the fighting sequences. Hopefully it'll be released in the US soon.

 

I've seen the first two episodes and i love it. Macross Zero is awesome. but im wondering, does anyone know when the third one is coming out?

 

Saw both eps the days they were released by fan-subbers. Both very good. Story-wise its pretty good so far (but I am nervous about the whole spiritia influence, I've never liked the concept terribly much).

Graphic wise, I should bloody hope its superior to Macross Plus given that theres been almost a decade between the two for animation techniques to improve.

The third one, as far as I know, comes out around October.

 

I cant wait till the third episode comes out because the part at the end of the second one where Sara is singing and all those things start floating around and the artifact bleeds left me in suspence...and hooked on Macross Zero...I keep watching the first two episodes over and over just trying to figure out what'll happen in the third one

 

Spoiler: Minor Macross Zero Episode 3 plot point

From what I hear, we get to see some destroids in episode 3, including a new one which can jump really far.

 

I'm going to an anime club at Ryerson University and they just showed eps 1 & 2 so hopefully they will show eps 3 next meeting.

 

Depends on when that next meeting is, given that the release of episode 3 is (IIRC) somewhere around October.

I ve seen the first two episodes too. Mabe im a bit late with this but the third episode must be available somewhere cos I got part of it downloaded from kazza unfortunately I only got the what happened in the previous episode part so far but if its as good as the first two it ll be worth waiting for!

 

I have all episodes so far 1-3, waiting the months for episode 4.

Storywise, hmmm its something, a decent story. Graphics, questionable.

Ok so the CG allows great scenes like the full transformation sequence of the VF like in Episode 1. but it makes the serise feel alien to the rest of the Macross universe.

Be like if HG actualy did do something CG, like the RT3000 thingy...
