Music who is better blink182 or green day

    cause that's closer to punk than blink will ever be. it's like asking which is more punk; the ramones or blink 182
    green day is the most punk punk, but it sure ain't pop-punk

    Blink 182 is very samey... but a few of their songs are ok, I havn't heard much of Green day's songs.

    I'm not a big fan of either.

    However, the video for Walking Contradiction by Green Day makes me laugh, while hearing any song by Blink 182 makes me fill with murderous, hateful rage. So I'm gonna vote for Green Day.

    you're entitled to your opinion, only thing i'm gonna argue is the manufactered comment. not sure about blink, never really cared for them, but well, green day isn't a company made band.
    they started out on their own record label before signing onto reprise records.

    Green Day has the song ' Hitchen a Ride ' which automaticaly makes them better than Blink. But Blink has a better sense of Humour.

    green day is definetly better ... i dont like green day all that much but they are much better then blink :D

    green day, i guess.
    i mean, im not big fans of either. i know that mark hoppus from blink 182 shares a birthday with me. i find some of their music interesting and fun to listen to sometimes, but other than that, green day.
    if i had to choose.

    well i wanted funny and upbeat and fun i would definately choose Blink 182^_^ but if i was just chilling aruond the house then i would lsiten to Greenday

    green day (i think anyway) is better then blink182 i just like green day songs more and the whole "pop-punk" thing isnt something i like in my music.

    i like both because they both have smash hits like(GreenDay)time of your life, niceguys finish last. (Blink 182)All the small things, adams song. See what i mean, its to hard to decide.

    Billy Joe Armstrong is one of the worst guitarists ever. I could play better with my toes, so Green Day sucks. Green Day started off as punk, but they just sold out and became like everyone else.
    Blink 182's a bunch of washed-up has-beens. They paved the way for A Simple Plan, Sum 41 and all the other pop/punk hybrids, but that's about it. The only thing by them I really like is I Won't Be Home For Christmas.
    Pop music is the enemy. Remember, sometimes selling out is giving up.

    I guess I'd go for Greenday here.

    I'm kinda chuckling at the way everyone is choosing Greenday cause Blink 182 is too pop.. I seem to remember that's exactly what everyone said about Greenday when Dookie came out, that they were too pop.. oh well.
